Clínica Ginefiv – Reviews and Prices

I had a very bad experience in this clinic, even though I had traveled from far away for double stimulation IVF:

1. I have never met my French-speaking GP. Instead, I was followed by five different doctors, which affected continuity of care.

2. I suffered from ovarian hyperstimulation, leading to ascites (fluid buildup in the abdomen), pain and overgrown follicles.

3. On the day of the puncture, no specialist doctor advised me. It was only in the operating room that I was told, without explanation or support, that there was only one follicle left. I was asked on the table if I wanted to puncture the follicle!! what answer could I have had on the table??!! stung undressed and super disappointed with the news…it was just inhumane not to have taken the time to advise me to explain that it was useless because the remaining follicle was too big (much big as the staff said)

4. After the puncture, (white of course) I developed a hematoma which took months to resolve, causing pain…

When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was simply offered a reduction for a next cycle…except that the confidence was no longer there.

Certainly, the setting is pleasant and the administrative staff remained friendly throughout, but I felt like a customer and not like a patient. My case was taken lightly, and I will never forgive the lack of consideration from the medical staff.

Fortunately, I consulted another clinic in Madrid (Eug…, also renowned for fertility), and the experience was completely different. Failure is not inevitable, but when we know that everything has been done to optimize our chances, we come away satisfied, whatever the result.

We are very grateful for the personal and unparalleled treatment from all the Ginefiv Clinic workers; always hopeful and optimistic but with the truth ahead. Special thanks to Dr. Ruiz and Begoña (specialist in reproductive psychology) for their empathy at all times, professionalism and their affection. Today we have our new princess!!!

The process was hard and with many problems. However, Dr. Vignardi took us by the hand and also helped us face each in vitro procedure, advising us on cutting-edge tests and helping us have a healthy baby.

Our experience has been totally negative, starting with the treatment, the long waits, the short time we spent in the consultation, leaving there with a lot of doubts. After the puncture we were left with 3 quality C embryos, something that no one told us at any time, we saw it on one of the sheets and we started to investigate. Their interest was to continually get money from us, in each consultation they came up with something else. The follow-up is not done by the same doctor, you spend today with one, tomorrow with another and the psychological support thing is a lie, for them we are just another number. After 3 transfers, 2 negative and one positive that ended with an abortion at 7 weeks. For us the saying that cheap is expensive totally applied. I do not recommend this clinic!

Super professional and honest clinic. I went to freeze my eggs because at another gynecological clinic they told me that after having an ultrasound they found that I had a very low ovarian load for my age (30 years) and they recommended freezing (they had a partner with a fertility clinic and they recommended that I go there. .). I didn’t go to what they told me and I went to Ginefiv.
At Ginefiv they have much more experienced gynecologists (I don’t want to think badly of the other place…) and after doing several tests (such as the anti-Mullerian test) and ultrasounds, the doctor saw more follicles than the other gynecologist, (plus the Ginefiv doctor saw them for me). taught, the other did not). Finally they told me that I had a more or less normal reservation; but it doesn’t go down. The truth is that it was a relief, because these treatments are not cheap.
In short, the treatment has been unbeatable and the professionalism brutal. Very happy. If in the end it is difficult for me to get pregnant, I will not hesitate to return – thank you for everything!

I went to this clinic on the recommendation of my gynecologist and Dr. Villafañez’s treatment was impeccable, they explained everything pros and cons to me and in less than a month I had everything ready to start the process… fast considering that it was during the summer ,, and effective.. now I have a 1 month old baby!❤️🐣 I hope to return next year to use the egg that I have frozen and be lucky enough to be a mother for the 2nd time 🤰🏼
