  • check_circle Personalized Supportive Care

Nursing staff, patient‑care coordinators, and the international liaison (Marina LJ) consistently provide warm, attentive service, treating patients like family. Embryologists explain procedures, and nurses stay by patients’ side during retrievals, reducing anxiety and ensuring continuous emotional support throughout the journey.

  • check_circle Modern Facilities & Efficient Process

What to watch out for at Clínica Ginefiv?

  • warning Incomplete Diagnostic Workup

A patient discovered a uterine polyp and endometritis only after seeking care elsewhere, indicating that comprehensive uterine assessment was not performed before IVF cycles. This omission led to unnecessary cycles, hormonal strain, and emotional distress.

  • warning Communication & Empathy Gaps

Instances of insensitive remarks, such as a doctor attributing low ovarian reserve to fragile X syndrome without evidence, and abrupt explanations during follicle puncture, left patients feeling dismissed and uncared for.

  • warning Procedural Safety Concerns

A severe complication involving internal pelvic bleeding after ovarian puncture required emergency surgery, and another case reported ovarian hyperstimulation with ascites and a lingering hematoma, highlighting gaps in monitoring and post‑procedure care.

  • warning Pricing & Scheduling Issues

Patients report unpredictable price increases, high fees, and appointment delays where consultations start far later than scheduled, creating frustration and a perception that financial considerations outweigh patient welfare.

The clinic pioneered the first birth from frozen embryos in Madrid in 1988 and achieved Spain’s first ICSI birth in 1996, followed by the introduction of IMSI in 2009. Yes, Ginefiv runs two dedicated ovodonación programs that provide donor eggs to patients with diminished ovarian reserve or genetic concerns. All donors undergo rigorous medical, psychological and genetic screening to ensure safety and compatibility. The clinic guarantees a high pregnancy rate, reporting an accumulated pregnancy success of 50‑60 % per transfer for the standard program and over 80 % for the premium program that typically yields three blastocysts. Egg donation cycles are fully integrated with IVF, embryo culture and blastocyst transfer, offering a reliable pathway to pregnancy with donor eggs.
Does Ginefiv treat single women seeking fertility treatment? expand_more
Ginefiv welcomes single women who wish to become mothers and offers tailored fertility treatment plans for them. Single patients can pursue IVF with their own oocytes when ovarian reserve permits, or opt for ovodonación using screened donor eggs. All procedures adhere to strict quality certifications, ensuring the highest standards of assisted reproduction.

Ginefiv is inclusive of same‑sex couples and offers specialized protocols for both female and male partners. Female couples can choose the ROPA (Reception of Oocytes from the Partner) method, allowing one partner to provide the egg and the other to carry the pregnancy. The clinic’s multidisciplinary team ensures that LGBTQ+ families receive the same high‑quality assisted reproduction care as any other patients.

The clinic offers ovodonación programs with donor eggs, the ROPA method for female couples, and embryo reception for donated blastocysts.
