I gave birth here and it was the best possible option! My midwife did all of my prenatal care. Each of my appointments were as long as I wanted sometimes up to an hour an a half if I had lots of questions. I learned so much and had the birth experience of a lifetime

Wonderful clinic that works hard to support the community! They offer lots of services and appointments as well as reproductive health supplies available for free(!) for walk ins. They stay connected in the community with events and tours and are a vital part of Memphis! I had a great time at the ‘Not Your Mom’s Gyno’ tattoo fundraiser back in October and they worked with lots of local artists and had fun activities and snacks for everyone who attends. Attendees were able to get a tour or the facility from one of their very kind midwives, including procedure rooms and the birth center. I highly recommend checking out choices for your reproductive and healthcare needs!

I do not recommend for midwife services. I have taken over a month to process my labor at Choices and ultimately decided to leave this review after multiple conversations with my therapist. I arrived to deliver my baby with 100% trust and left with 0%. I do believe the outcome would have been a positive one if we had the midwife we primarily built a relationship with. We reiterated many many times to her that we just wanted a safe delivery and for whatever to happen that needed to happen for our baby to be delivered healthy and safe. Our baby ended up in the NICU for almost a week (not blaming that on Choices but I strongly believe it could have been a different outcome if the midwife made more conservative choices in how she directed us). The majority of my prenatal appointments were with one midwife but we got a different midwife for labor and delivery. The midwives timeline of my labor does not align with my husbands, my MIL or my recollection of the labor. Additionally what she told the hospital did not align with her written timeline or the actual events (as my family and I recall them). Make sure you make the midwifes review your plan and set clear expectations of when you should be transferred to the hospital and what should happen if you do end up at the hospital. I was told I had a boring pregnancy multiple times and it was my mistake to take that as the green light to not ensure our preferences were documented and communicated to all of the midwifes. **We have no issue with being transferred to the hospital and should have been transferred before it became an emergency as discussed with the midwifes per thier policies. Additionally my mother in law questioned the midwife and expressed concern to her about how things were progressing and was reassured that everything was fine and we did not need to go to the hospital. It was communicated to the midwife who did 99% of our prenatal appointments that we did not care if we couldnt do a water birth or needed to go to the hospital ... we wanted a safe delivery that was our expectation.
