Doctors here are excellent and take the time to thoroughly review each patient’s case to identify the root cause of fertility issues, my experience with the patient care team has been disappointing. Responses to queries are delayed, and follow-up has been inconsistent.

Overall, the doctors at CCRM are very good. The phlebotomy team, ultrasound technicians, and front desk staff are all professional and knowledgeable. The clinic environment is clean and comfortable, and in general, the medical care itself is solid.
However, my experience with my assigned nurse, Christine, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional, and it significantly impacted my treatment experience.
First, medication coordination was handled very poorly. The clinic sent my medications directly to a self-pay pharmacy instead of confirming a pharmacy that works with my insurance. These medications required prior authorization from the physician. The pharmacy was unable to reach the clinic, so I had to personally contact both the pharmacy and my insurance company multiple times. I repeatedly asked Christine to send the physician’s prior authorization, but her responses were extremely slow—sometimes taking up to 48 hours, or not responding at all. I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic paperwork sent.
Instead of helping, she repeatedly stated that “this is not my responsibility,” and even asked me for the phone number of their partner pharmacy, CloudRx—information that is easily found on Google. I had already called the pharmacy many times myself. She never once attempted to call them and did not even know their phone number, nor was she willing to look it up.
For comparison, when I did IVF at RSC, I never experienced any medication delays or last-minute emergencies like this. Their nurses were highly professional and proactive—they planned ahead, placed medication orders early, and ensured patients received their medications well in advance. Patients were never left scrambling to make phone calls or manage insurance and pharmacy issues on their own. Treatment plans were updated promptly and clearly, and I never had to chase the clinic at the end of the day to ask what injections I was supposed to take because staff were “about to leave.”
Second, during priming injections (day 4), Christine informed me that my husband and I supposedly shared the same genetic mutation and that we might need to stop the cycle. This caused significant anxiety and panic. I believed new genetic testing had been performed without my knowledge. In reality, I had already completed genetic testing and genetic counseling at my previous IVF clinic (RSC), and there were no findings that would cause a dominant genetic condition in offspring.
Christine was simply wrong and had not confirmed this information with the physician before alarming me. Only the next day did she confirm that there was no issue and that we could continue the cycle—yet she still suggested genetic counseling again. I had a wonderful experience with CCRM and Dr. Jun and found her to be highly skilled, thoughtful, and caring. She does not just do IVF cycles but actually try to understand why. She helped diagnosis my endometriosis, referred me to one of the best surgeons for treatment. I’m so glad she did because based my condition the transfer would’ve likely failed and wasted the embryos. After my surgery I got pregnant naturally and now have a beautiful 6 month old baby boy ❤️
Before coming to CCRM we’ve talked to a lot of friends about their experience and also went to one other clinic. Most fertility clinics pretty much was like a shop for you to pick from a few services and if it didn’t work you just do it again. The first I went to was very dismissive because I was on the younger side so she told me to “come back in a year”.
I ultimately came here because CCRM was recommended by my OB.
Dr. Jun was very thoughtful and read my report in detail. She submitted a number of diagnostic tests for me and walked me through the results - while I was young, and my AMH level was “in range”, she suspected I need to start egg retrieval now - something the last clinic dismissed - and she was completely right. I did 2 retrievals with them; and based on the result of the first she changed the protocol for the second. And based on all the outcomes she suspected I had endometriosis and referred me to a specialist surgeon and not implant yet. It turned out I had stage 4 endometriosis, and after the surgery I got pregnant naturally! Even after that they still brought me in for multiple check ups to make sure the pregnancy was progressing normally, before I graduated to an OB. I cannot be more grateful for Dr. Jun!
The clinic itself is also very professional and clean. All the nurses are wonderful and I felt safe the whole time. There is one phlebotomist (I never asked for her name :( ) who is just wonderful - I’m terrified of blood draws but she always made me feel comfortable and she was so good with the needle I barely feel it.
Early on it took some time to schedule time with the doctor - I think they are busy - but once I was in the system they were very responsive. You mostly text the nurse through Salve; I’ve never had any issues with promptness once I was an active patient. Although some times it felt like not everything said was passed onto the doctor, and the staff could be better at explaining why they’re telling me to do certain things given how stress IVF is.
During the stimulation I got ultrasounds almost daily - and calls from the nurse every time after on next steps. After retrieval they also checked up on me and updated me promptly on embryo progress.
The only staff that I didn’t like as much was my first coordinator (but seems like she’s gone now) and some of the front desk staff can be rude some times.
Overall IVF is a highly stressful process and infertility is unfortunately not well understood; but Dr Jun is highly skilled and really does want the best for her patients and she is one of the best in this field.

There is some serious management issue with this office. While the doctors are good and they have advanced technologies, the doctors seemed reluctant to manage the staff, resulting in the staff all acting unresponsive, slow, and actively trying to turn patients away, or delay their appointments or schedules. I have been to three fertility clinics, and this is by far the most unprofessional and unresponsive admin
and nursing teams I have ever seen. Even UCSF’s nursing and admin teams respond in a faster and more efficient way way than this clinic. They also do a bait and switch where the new patient phone line is always picked up right away, but once you are an existing patient, nobody ever picks up when you call.
