I’m so grateful to Dr. Payson and the entire team at CCRM for helping me conceive my beautiful daughter through IVF.

From the very first appointment, Dr. Payson’s calming presence made such a difference. He is incredibly cool, collected, and reassuring — exactly what you need during such an emotional process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and always made me feel supported and heard.

The whole clinic staff was compassionate and professional every step of the way. Thanks to their care and expertise, I now have the greatest gift of my life. I can’t recommend Dr. Payson highly enough!

Patients are handled like some goods on a conveyor belt, from one person to the other. Basically the service is split into silos therefore having a personalised follow up isnt easy. I had a meeting with finance department, assurance was given that they would let me know of the insurance decision before moving forward. The medical incharge then proceeded to advise me to purchase the meds( and I did) then, insurance cover was denied! They then sent me a short message saying I will not be covered and I needed to deposit 17K or use their proposed loan servive! I had to call back several times to get an explanation of the denial! It semeed to me they care more about the money and not the patient. So I now have a minifridge of meds that I cant use. Still havent got their promised call months down the line. H I wouldnt go back there.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID CCRM if you don’t want to have a life-long struggle chasing them to correct the wrong bill! Had a billing problem since early December, received the wrong bill (wrong service billed and bill was overcharged due to the wrong billing code + wrong provider name was on my bill). Called CCRM consistently since December trying to solve this issue on my end, but no one has ever picked my phone call from the billing department, no matter how many times I have called them. Left multiple messages in the billing department but no one ever called me back.

I tried to make an detour and called the DC office, still no one has answered the phone call yet from the billing department. I made another detour hoped at least someone could help me on this matter and directed the phone call to the front desk(how desperate) - finally somebody answered and said she left a message for the billing department to see. Still, till today I haven’t heard anything back.

Again, just of this week, I received another wrong bill that’s incorrectly stated a blood work that I never got at CCRM. Called again after I got the bill this week, same situation with unresponsive staff. I guess I’ll have to take a trip to the clinic to solve this issue.🙂

And also please don’t even bother to reply a robotic -like official message that means nothing to help the patients solving the problem at all and just send to every low rating. SOLVE THE ACTUAL PROBLEMS, OK? 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I want to start off by saying that Dr. Payson and the medical staff have been nothing short of wonderful. I can’t say enough positive things about nurse Meghan as well. She always responds immediately and is such a great help. Dr. Payson took time to understand my infertility journey and put thought into a tailored protocol for my situation, which resulted in a healthy embryo after two failed egg retrievals at SGF.

However, I’ve never experienced such stress from the admin support teams. The authorization and billing teams feel impossible.

At SGF, my auth was submitted within 1-2 days. Here, it took weeks to see it get submitted and I had to keep trying to follow up to get a status update because I didn’t get notified when it was submitted. I was on a tight timeline, so this caused a great deal of stress.

Additionally, getting messages when money is due has not been a problem — quick and timely. But, as soon as you have questions or issues, it’s like pulling teeth to get support, which is often dismissive. Infertility is stressful enough as it is and to experience such unnecessary additional stress from poor customer service only makes infertility outcomes worse.

As much as I appreciate the wonderful medical care I’ve been getting, I can’t recommend this clinic for treatment because of the admin side. I also don’t understand why some of the elements of procedures are billed as out-of-network when the rest is in-network (the surgery room itself and the anesthesia), which has resulted in additional thousands of dollars in expenses that are easily avoided elsewhere (SGF).

I switched to CCRM from SGF for the additional treatment options (growth hormones, etc.), but after these experiences, I’m afraid I will be switching back once my cycle is done and would caution anyone thinking to seek treatment here to be forewarned. It will be a rollercoaster, and you will be paying a lot more out-of-pocket for costs that can easily be avoided.

I hope this review can encourage CCRM to improve its admin customer service and its out-of-network practices, because it would attract a lot more patients.
