Yes! Just say yes! It’s a long review but do yourselves a favor and hear me out… Whether this is your first time seeking help with fertility or, like us, you’ve been to other clinics that left you feeling hopeless…look no further! Dr. Mesen and Dr. Y are truly the best in this business, period. We saw well known and “famous” Doctors in Los Angeles and Atlanta over the course of 5 years. We went through 3 full rounds of ivf and one that was cancelled before deciding to look in our own backyard, Charlotte. After reading 99.9% of positive reviews about CFI and talking to their patients via FB support groups, we made the best decision of our lives and had a consult with Dr. Y. TBH we fully expected to walk in and have to explain our entire infertility journey thus far just as we had at every other doctor and specialists office…but to our surprise, Dr. Y had actually taken the time to read our thick file of testing, numbers, physician’s notes, previous ivf results, etc. and actually knew our story. He was warm, kind, extremely informative and knowledgeable and did not sugar coat the facts. The same goes for Dr. Mesen (whom I saw for the majority of appointments). Trust me, if you are wanting help and answers then you do not want someone to sugarcoat it. That results in a lot of heartache, unanswered questions, time lost, and vanishing money without a sweet baby in your arms —we learned that the hard way at other clinics. Both Dr. Y and Dr. Mesen had a gameplan for us from the jump and asked us to trust them and their top of the line advanced Lab technology that was not available anywhere else we had been —in fact, no other clinics had even mentioned it existed or how it could literally make all the difference in your outcome. We were all in. They shared info and options with us each step of the way. The entire CFI Charlotte and Winston Salem staff maintained excellent professionalism, bedside manner, and empathy each time we had an appt, sent an email, or called in. Sadly, the other clinics had made us feel like just another number. For those of you who have heard at CFI you have to wait a while either to even be seen for an initial consult or in the office on your appointment days…ask yourself two questions, “ Do I care more about how long I have to wait to be seen in the moment, or how long those precious 9 months will be waiting for the bundle of joy you never thought you’d get to have to arrive?!” And “would I rather go to a doctor(s) who sees me right away because the lobby is empty and they get you in and out in a flash, or would I rather go to a doctor(s) whose office is constantly packed, takes their time with each patient, KNOWS each patient, and has a waitlist FOR A REASON??” We opted for the latter and at 42 (me) and 53 (my husband) we welcomed our amazing baby girl in May 2021. Dr. Y and Dr. Mesen got it right the first time. My best advice is YES, GO TO CFI and JUST TRUST THEM! If they tell you that a transfer or egg retrieval or anything else should be postponed due to X, Y, Z…JUST TRUST THEM! They know what they are doing and are two of the nations top fertility specialists for a reason 🥰 I can’t conclude without giving a special shout out and HUGE thank you to Lori Marion at CFI who was truly a Godsend for us. A heart of GOLD and Amazing person! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND CFI…and give them millions and millions of stars 😍🤩😁
