I couldn’t be happier with the experience ! I had a first time success with IVF and my precious baby girl is four months old today! All the staff are lovely and I’m so grateful they made my dream of becoming a mummy come true. Forever thankful to you all x

Do not use this service just wonting money out of people and when owed money dont wont to pay you what they owe you back

The male doctor delivered news which disorientated me and shooed me out in just ten minutes, leaving more questions than answers. He had a negative and dismissive attitude to my questions. This place was very costly and they didn’t even provide me with a full range of tests which I am now getting on the NHS. I would exercise caution to women visiting this clinic. You are treated like a customer not a patient.

Underneath this review the clinic comments. Their clinic director tried to have me drop my complaint and the clinic has threatened to take this review down.

The nurse who took my blood was lovely but…
Male doctor was all but gossiping about geriatric pregnancies (35+) during my consultation and the manager of the Sheffield clinic acted like I was an idiot for saying something, then told me that she didn’t think they would, ‘meet [my] expectations’.

She also wanted me to justify not wanting a male doctor doing physical procedures.

The staff who manage the salve app are constantly giving different messages to what I was given in clinic and what they each say on the phone. The Care sperm bank was difficult to be ‘allowed into’, despite Dr. Lowe urging me to register with them as soon as possible.

I’ve decided that I will not be rolling the dice with these people.

I posted previously on trust pilot but felt it important to let others know of a truly positive experience. I chose to travel 2 hours to Care Sheffield due to its reputation, and I can hand on heart say it was well deserved. The entire team are so conscientious and friendly. Everything is sorted promptly. If they say they will call they will. Appointments were on time and so informative. Special thanks to Dr Petsas! His knowledge, compassion and dedication make a huge difference. I have just completed my first round of IVF as an individual and can say I felt completely at ease and well informed with everything and which decisions would be best.

My wife and I are struggling with Care Sheffield. We’re of an age where time really matters, and we’re finding it very difficult to get the service we’re paying for. We’ve had a few issues over the course of the treatment, and it’s taking a long time, we started about 3 years ago. The final straw was today – it took 40 minutes listening to the “your call is important to us” hold music before someone answered the phone – we finally have an appointment in 1 month for someone to take some blood, that blood will take 1 month to travel to a testing facility.

Not so bad, right? It’s a special test. We waited a month for a consultation with a doctor to be told we need the test, that’s a month after an implantation failed.

This is just indicative of our struggles with Care. We paid so much money for this, and for the tests, and we feel completely locked in to this abysmal service. There’s no complaint number or email on their website, and if there was, it would take longer than 40 minutes for someone to answer.

Seriously hope they see this.

100% recommend care sheffield, from the reception staff right through to the consultants. Always professional, and really seemed to care about the outcome of treatment, I do need to give a special mention to nurse manager emma maloney. She was perfect answered every phonecall message, did our bloods scans just everything, even came in on her day off to see our transfer through as i was nervous. Now thanks to her and dr. petsas ( Dream team) I have a 7 month old baby boy, our little care bear, and all this was achieved in one month with care, i was only with them a few weeks and was pregnant.
