My partner and I cannot speak highly enough of the BFC. We chose them as we felt confident after reading their glowing reviews. We had been trying for our second baby for nearly a year and Dr Gordon and her team were so kind and informative that we felt in very safe hands. We underwent numerous tests and ultimately ended up having IVF with ICSI under the guidance of Dr Gordon. Our round was sadly unsuccessful but we were treated with such sensitivity and understanding that we knew we wanted to remain with them for our second egg retrieval. Everything was very clear and Lisa was extremely helpful and friendly and always on hand if I needed any additional information. If you’re looking for a personal approach with a small, familiar, very knowledgeable team then we’d definitely recommend Dr Gordon. We amazingly ended up falling pregnant naturally before our second egg retrieval but would absolutely return to BFC in the future.

IVF clinic BFC offers a personal, consistent service. Staff, including Mrs Gordon and Lisa, are knowledgeable, supportive, and warm. The clinic achieved a successful first embryo transfer for the couple at the age of 40.

I’m writing this review, next to my 4 month old son, conceived via ICSI under the care of Mrs Gordon and her team. Me (39F) and my partner (45M) chose BFC as the reviews of the larger, national clinics were generally average to poor. At BFC we saw the same medical team each time and it felt like a personal, consistent service. Mrs Gordon and her team (including the brilliant Lisa) were very knowledgeable, professional and supportive. They were very warm and really put me at ease and I felt very comfortable in their care. They managed our expectations in a clear but kind way, but it always felt like they were rooting for us. As an older couple our expectations were quite low, so we were astounded to have success on our first embryo transfer which took place shortly after I turned 40. The preparation period involving tests, scans and planning meetings took a long time from initial consultation (around 4 months) but once you’re out of the gates they get your cycle organised very quickly. They are good at responding to short timeframes. IVF is very complex and nuanced, and we definitely felt Mrs Gordon’s extensive knowledge and expertise maximised our chances at starting a family. Now at 41F and 47M we will be using BFC again to try for another child. We may or may not be successful but we feel confident this team can help us take our best shot.

We had a successful treatment with Dr Uma Gordon and her team after experiencing a failed IVF round on the NHS. They transported our embryos from abroad for treatment in the UK. We welcomed our healthy baby girl thanks to their dedication and expertise.

A little late in the day given our daughter is now 2 years old, but we wanted to express our thanks to Dr Uma Gordon and her team. After a failed IVF round on the NHS, we went abroad for treatment. Due to various reasons, we were never able to complete a full IVF cycle abroad. After a year or so of cancelled cycles with our clinic abroad, we approached Dr Gordon and decided to transport our embryos to the UK and continue treatment with Dr Gordon and her team. Our first round of treatment with Dr Gordon was successful and we were delighted to welcome our beautiful, healthy baby girl, all thanks to Dr Gordon and her team!
