What to watch out for at Anova Fertility & Reproductive Health?
-
warning
Poor communication and follow‑up
Many patients experience weeks‑long delays in receiving test results, appointment confirmations, or medical records. Emails and voicemails often go unanswered, and the embryology team is reported as unresponsive, leaving patients uncertain about frozen embryos and treatment plans.
-
warning
Rude front‑desk and scheduling issues
Front‑desk staff are frequently described as unfriendly, non‑empathetic, and slow to answer calls. Appointments are cancelled at the last minute, rescheduled multiple times, and doctors such as Dr. Dixon are noted for being consistently late by two to three hours.
-
warning
Perceived profit‑driven practices
Patients report hidden fees, high costs for assisted hatching and sperm kits, and aggressive stimulation protocols for egg donors that prioritize yield over safety. Several reviews allege that the clinic pushes IVF or IUI without adequate justification, focusing on revenue generation.
-
warning
Inconsistent doctor conduct
Doctor interactions vary widely; some patients find Dr. Dixon compassionate, while others describe her as rushed, dismissive, and unwilling to discuss alternatives. Dr. Prema Vaidyanathan is cited for lacking bedside manner, and Dr. Mahmoud’s virtual consultations are criticized for poor language clarity.

Every month, I undergo blood tests and ultrasounds, but my reports are not properly explained to me. I am not clearly informed about how many embryos I have or what my current medical status is. Communication is extremely limited — even speaking with a nurse requires an appointment. To speak with the doctor, the wait time can be 2–3 months, and appointments are sometimes cancelled without proper follow-up.
This lack of transparency has caused me significant stress and anxiety. Not receiving timely results or clear explanations leaves patients constantly overthinking about their treatment and health. I feel emotionally drained and unsupported throughout this process.
I am sharing my experience so that others can make an informed decision. In my experience, this clinic lacks clear communication, transparency, and adequate patient support. I sincerely hope the clinic improves its communication and patient care practices for future patients.

1- bloodwork only takes place 7-11 AM weekdays and you cant do ur blood work elsewhere
2- no proper Dr sess you even after all the exams and tests are done.
3- you will never see your file! And even after 3 follow up, my OB GYN got a file full of raw data that she had no time to decipher!
4- Their finance team will follow up with tenacity! Only staff member that keeps on touching with you! Lol
5- you will get the most dehumanizing treatment
Finaly some assistant called me and gave my a bunch of scientific and biological data (which she promised would email me, none to this date) and gave me a an option of IVF with theor $$$ tag. I felt so low that decided to drop the whole idea for a while. And thankfully we got pregnant natural!
All the best to couples in the same boat.

Dr. Kaur has been very kind, patient, and reassuring every time we met her. She explains things calmly and clearly, and it is very evident that she is highly knowledgeable in her subject, which has given us a lot of confidence during this process.
What really touched us was when she spoke to us in our regional language, Telugu. It instantly made us feel comfortable and understood. As we interacted with her more, we came to know that she speaks multiple languages including Kannada, Punjabi, Malay, Mandarin, and Hindi. Being able to communicate in a language you are comfortable with during such an emotional time makes a huge difference.
We are still on this journey, but we are truly grateful for the care, understanding, and compassion we have received from the entire team so far.
