I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but here I can’t help it.
Together with my wife 6 months ago I went to doctor Bogdan doroftei for a consultation.
Practically, after 2 years of attempts and 2 lost pregnancies that the doctor called “skins” we decided to go to a “specialist”, during a short interview I told him that I had hydrocele which required surgery…immediately after what I said, the respective gentleman stopped everything and said “Well you are the problem, how do you want to have children if you had such a problem”.
There followed a period when I started to blame myself, and my morale was on the ground according to your words.
Today, after 6 months, I found out that my wife is pregnant, without treatment and with “my problems”.
It’s strictly about how you spoke! Without an analysis, and without seeing that skin, you found the cause! I’m mature enough to understand that medical problems can’t be solved on the internet, but not the way you did!
Work with people, not animals!
Hello! I would like to present my experience and the opinions formed during it.
First of all, I am from Galați. Having a medical problem, I looked for a solution to it in Iasi. A few names of doctors were circulated, I studied their professional experience, I read the opinions of patients, I called the clinics where they practice to see the rates charged, availability, etc., I listened to shows in which they participated, but I went very much on my and my husband’s instinct as well. All these things, but also their profile picture, made us turn to Mr. Dr. Bogdan Doroftei. I had only 3 meetings with Mr. doctor. The first was at the Orygin Fertility clinic, where I think it is accessible to a wide range of people, which made me understand that it is a dr. in the service of the people, despite the vast professional experience (in general, famous doctors practice intangible rates, and the availability does not really exist). The second meeting was on the operating table, and the third at discharge.
At the first meeting he convinced me that I was not mistaken about him: there are things you see if you know how to read between the lines…
1. As a human experience – it is gentle, warm, calm, human, makes you feel comfortable, treats you like a normal person, not a sick person, as if it gives you assurance that your problem will, somehow or another a solution;
2. As medical experience – at the moment he fixed the ultrasound, he pronounced the diagnosis, after which he elaborated. He explained everything in a way that everyone could understand, of course he answered all the questions asked, because I ask anything that concerns me; He presented me with all the possible options of action in solving the problem. Besides that, he was the only doctor who issued another possible diagnosis for another medical problem that could be related to the one I came for. So your medical vision on the entire endocrine system has spoken.
He is a valuable professional doctor to whom I bow and thank him!
PS The other two meetings were at the Cuza Vodă Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinical Hospital for which I will write a review on the institution’s page.
Excellent services and a team of very well trained and dedicated professionals!
About Dr. Bogdan Doroftei, all the best. Shame on you, mister torturer.
Yesterday I went to a well-known gynecologist for a routine check-up, a Pap test and an ultrasound. I am also diagnosed with PCOS.
I was called into the office, a small, narrow office smelling of cat litter, with an open screen and a small board of doctors. They made me sit on the chair to discuss. OK. I sat down and the doctor I actually came to said Shhh he was responding to a text on the phone. Then he looks at me and starts studying me. He asks me how old I am and then asks me if I want children in the near future. I tell him not for now.
And the carnage begins. He starts talking to the other resident doctors, completely ignores me, and starts complaining that my generation doesn’t want kids anymore, that studies are done, that we’re focused on unimportant things, that we should want kids, women shouldn’t be so, that 50 years ago women knew what they had to do and gave birth to 5 children. He asks me why I don’t want to.
I told him that there are various reasons. And they keep “chastising” me that I’m going to reach 40 years old and I’m going to come to fertility clinics to ask them to help me.
His rant took about 6-7 minutes of my time, paid for. Ok, after he calmed down he asked me why I came. I tried to explain what was hurting me and he made fun of me, because I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome “yes, yes, you can see it from a post office, you don’t have to tell me” and he starts listing all my flaws and makes me I feel tiny while the other people in the office look at me and no one says anything.
The other doctors were either residents or students. I don’t know exactly, but he was teaching them. They made me change. At every clinic I’ve been to so far, I’ve had a place to undress and get ready, away from their eyes. Outside the State Hospital, it’s the same story there as here. But I got over it, they’re doctors, anyway they’re going to see me even closer than that. I sat on the torture table and he doesn’t even get up to do the test and checkup. He sends one of the female doctors he teaches. She was nice and empathetic, but I got the feeling she still had a lot to learn. It took a long time to take my pap smear, it was extremely painful. They didn’t do any checks, they went straight to the ultrasound and it took 5 minutes or more to find my left ovary. She couldn’t find it, he got mad and started lashing out at her and he came and jerked that device inside me I wanted to cry. And I sat on that table like a guinea pig for a good few minutes.
I cleaned myself, got dressed “after” the open screen. They said they couldn’t help me with the pain and sent me to a neurologist.
I walked out of the building and cried for 10 minutes.
If you are a woman and you are not thin, you are not treated humanely. It’s not the first time I’ve been treated like this at the gynecologist. If you’re not pregnant or don’t want to get pregnant, you’re a nobody in their eyes.
I don’t mind future doctors learning, practicing on people. When I was hospitalized, I had 10 students in the room taking notes and studying. Don’t bother me. But not on my money in a private clinic. I felt like a lab mouse.
I do not recommend! My friend left traumatized after a consultation with Dr. Bogdan Doroftei. Besides the fact that there is no place to change in the office, let the residents participate in the consultations and even do them themselves, without giving your consent or being asked if you agree with it.
She left this 2 lei clinic crying and told me what happened after I left, otherwise I wouldn’t have paid anything. Basically, he gave money so that she would be treated disrespectfully, to be taken lightly by the problems she has and to be consulted by residents instead of a doctor.
Dr. Bogdan Doroftei must learn to respect women
Last year we began various consultations with Mr. Doctor Bogdan Doroftei, unfortunately we found problems and the only chance to have a baby was embryo transfer…we obtained 9 healthy embryos…this year on February 5th we placed one and on 14.10.2024 Saint’s day, the little boy we wanted came into the world….it was a long road with many analyzes and treatments with many roads to Iași and Suceava, a lot of stress and fear that we will not succeed… .but with the help of the Lord Doctor Bogdan Doroftea I succeeded from the first transfer! He is a special doctor, we thank him for everything he did for us and how much he helped us fulfill our dream of being the parents of a perfectly healthy little boy with a score of 10 at birth! I recommend Origin Fertility Center! I recommend Doctor Bogdan Doroftei! Only words of praise for him! Thank you for everything!🙏🙏🙏
“Very Disappointed: Appointments Canceled Without Notice!”
They are not serious at all and cancel appointments overnight!!!
The best team 💚
Professionalism, empathy, science, devotion, involvement, offering solutions => these are the main characteristics that I have been looking for for some time (even in Bucharest) and I found them here when I was looking for the answer to the question: “When will we have a child?”
Thank you for everything, Dr. Doroftei! You are the best!
