The clinic offers a service-oriented environment with a secure patient portal that allows for 24/7 communication with staff. Many patients appreciate the quick responses from nurses and the financial team, ensuring clear guidance throughout the treatment process. - Positive Success Stories

What to watch out for at IVFMD?
- Scheduling Conflicts
Some patients experienced difficulties with scheduling appointments, including visits set for days when their doctors were unavailable. This can be frustrating given the distance some must travel to receive care, leading to wasted time and energy. - Billing Transparency Issues
There are notable complaints regarding unclear billing practices, with some patients feeling overwhelmed by unexpected charges. Many state that they did not receive clear explanations regarding fees, which adds unnecessary stress to the treatment process. - Communication Reliance on an App
Patients often expressed frustration with the clinic's communication reliance on the Prelude app, which was not always responsive or helpful. Issues with app functionality hinder the ability to communicate effectively with medical staff. - Lengthy Wait Times
While patient care is commendable, several reviews mention persistently long wait times for appointments. Patients are often kept waiting well past their scheduled times, which can be frustrating in an already stressful situation. - Mixed Staff Responsiveness
Although many staff members are praised, a minority have been described as unprofessional or lacking accountability. Several patients noted that the inconsistency in staff responsiveness negatively impacted their overall experience.
10 latest reviews of IVFMD
So sad that I have to write this review, as I was a patient for 3.5 years and did 8 IVF cycles and countless procedures with them – with no success. Unfortunately, what you read in previous reviews is true. This clinic is run poorly. They are always understaffed and the communication is terrible. Half of the nurses/employees have a terrible attitude. The good, kind nurses get bullied out/fired, but the ones with zero compassion that have no business working in this field (Lily R!) somehow stick around. You can’t communicate directly with your doctor unless you make an in person appointment which sometimes you have to wait 4 weeks for. I have shared this feedback with my RE and I can’t say anything bad about my doctor. Yet, in 3 years of working with my RE and 8 IVF cyles I never once received a phone call when I needed to talk with her. It’s either the portal with a nurse as the middleman or an in person appointment. Some of their clinic policies make no sense and are not patient focused. They don’t care about you or your success as much as their numbers and their profit. So yes, you are treated like a number – even after countless procedures and cycles there. The straw that broke the camels back for me was that they are holding $16,000 of mine for services that they have been reimbursed for by insurance months ago. Finance is blaming the “corporate refund process” for not refunding me when insurance already paid them. In addition I was told if I continued treatment the refund would take even longer. Needless to say I changed clinics. It’s been 5 months already since my last visit. Who undergoing infertility treatments has $16,000 to spare for this amount of time? This is not right. They are quick to collect for services but if they owe you they can take 6 months to reimburse? Sounds like fraud to me.
Another FYI, the positive reviews you see on here are for the most part not genuine. A few months back IVFMD did a “contest” urging their nurses to ask patients for 5 star reviews to boost their Google review rating. My nurse Joscelyn asked me to leave her a good review, which I could not in good conscience do, although she was a phenomenal nurse. She has since been let go. So most of the 5 star reviews on here are prompted by some of the nurses hoping to win a contest, not actually patients leaving good reviews for their overall experience with IVFMD.
Adriana was simply AMAZING! She took VERY good care of us, made sure we understood the entire process, gathered all possible information to build up our profile, and on top of all was very patient, informative and funny. We would 1000% recommend Adriana’s services.
Everyone from the front office to the back office was amazing. Adriana made today feel amazing and gave me and my husband hope, we do understand that nothing is guaranteed but the way she made us feel was the greatest in every way. We’re looking forward to going thru this experience with IVFMD.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gerkowicz! She was fantastic and made the whole experience so much better. When we met on my 41st birthday, I instantly felt hopeful yet grounded in reality. They really mean it when they say, “Do it once, do it right!”
The team was incredibly thorough and proactive, checking everything before any challenges arose. It was male infertility that was mainly our problem, and even with me being a bit older I was lucky to have a high egg reserve. I went through one retrieval and one transfer, and I was so blessed to welcome a beautiful, healthy baby boy just a month before my 43rd birthday! They wouldn’t move forward unless all my blood work and test results were perfect, which meant it took some time—about 9 months from my first consultation to retrieval, then another 5 months until my transfer.
I followed their recommendations closely, including taking many supplements and sticking to a strict low-inflammation diet to boost egg quality and improve implantation chances. I wanted to ensure I did everything possible, especially considering the costs involved. My insurance covered the consults and initial testing for infertility, but I ended up paying out of pocket for the treatments, which totaled around $50,000 with medications, tests, and procedures.
The clinic has multiple locations, all of which are clean and have friendly, kind staff. I was able to schedule around work, including work I travel for. Overall, I had a really positive experience! I highly recommend them.
Worst clinic ever! Definitely stay away. They look at you like a number, not a human being. They don’t respect their appointment ever, every time we went, we had to wait 2 hours for our appointments. You never see your Dr(mine was Dr Gerkowicz). Every time we were there for anything, we would see the nurses and if you have a question for the Doctor, good luck, she will never call, you have to make a paid appointment and that appointment would be 3 weeks later or so. They don’t want to use your insurance, they force laboratories on you that are not covered by your insurance, they also force pharmacies on you that are not covered by your insurance, so what’s the point of having insurance and paying so much?!!! To them you are a cash cow! Also their IUI are not done by the Doctors, nothing seems to be done by the Doctors! They mess up your blood work. I had my blood drawn at their clinic, half of the blood went bad because they waited too long to send it for testing, the lab told me this themselves, they told me they received samples that clotted because they waited too long to send them so of course I had to redo it all, expect this time I went directly to Quest! The nurse of the Dr has a lot of attitude. A lot of the staff does, they’re entitled like crazy, and they seriously just don’t care! Every time we were there waiting for over an hour, we would meet other patients in the lobby, and they would complain of similar experiences. I had a long talk with the office Manager at one point because it was getting ridiculous. Also I did an IUI that sent me to the ER because of how painful it was afterwards, that’s because like I mentioned earlier the doctors don’t do them and when I complained to the DR about my experience, she basically said « the nurses are trained to do these, they do millions a day » so I was wondering, what are you there for then?! They also try to force tests on you that are not needed, and everything extra they want to do it’s an outdoor lab that will cost you a lot of money because it’s not covered by the insurance and regular labs don’t do these tests. Bottom line, stay away, it’s a horrible clinic, they really don’t care. Needless to say, we changed clinics because finally another one opened where we are and was part of the network! It’s already a very difficult process to do IVF or deal with this fertility journey so you definitely don’t need a clinic that makes your journey worst! Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. Oh I forgot for the things they do charge your insurance, they overcharge you for things that you haven’t done. More than once, I had to notify the insurance to investigate and fix it as if wasn’t done. STAY AWAY.
I’m not recommending this clinic, don’t do what they tell you.
Adriana Ballestas was amazing with me in the first consult and really made me feel secure that they will tell me my ability at my age to conceive or not. The way she handled everything was very professional and she is such a cool chick. Even everyone at the front office was really professional with everything. 5* from me
Dr.Wood was professional, knowledgeable and made me feel seen and heard. The visit was clear and concise. I was very aware of what I needed to do. Not to mention her office called same day to make sure I was able to grasp all the information.
