I can only confirm what Ashley and the other recent reviewers wrote. It may be necessary to sue this place, so they get their clinic back on track. You’re playing with people and their health, not machines!
I have just been through two weeks of hormonal treatment, the pains that come with it, hours spent to get to the clinic and monitor, and am now without eggs. This standard procedure of social freezing was a complete failure.
First, a doctor calls you to discuss. What he told me differed quite a lot from what the midwives I met told me, in terms of financials and process. A red flag, but in Denmark, I trust people.
First meeting with Svend and a midwife, he told me of his decades of experience. Well that doesn’t help, if you let the process be managed by a different midwife every single time and the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand does. The information given is chaotic and they contradict each other. Initially, I was monitored by a younger midwife, who was very nice and careful. She asked me to come in several times to avoid overstimulation. Everything was looking good, except for that I was not told that most pharmacies don’t have enough Gonal F on store, so I should go to some specific pharmacies. I was not aware that the one package received was not enough and resulted in me running out of hormone on a Sunday, worst day to run out.
On a Friday, I was asked to come in again on Saturday, to avoid overstimulation, and it said the eggs might be taken out Monday. On Saturday, they changed midwives on me, mentioned that I might not need the Ovitrelle – the hormone that induces the release of the eggs, and said Tuesday or Wednesday would be the day, I should come back Monday. Monday I get another midwife – the fifth, who manages everything by herself (usually, there were two of them). I already had a bad feeling about her. She is very confident and unpleasant and tells me that it will be done Thursday, I should take Ovitrelle Tuesday (now suddenly, that hormone was back on scheme). Now, it is Thursday. I have been through two days of cramps. And as I arrive at the clinic this morning, the eggs are gone. No one there supports me, asks me how I am, helps me. I drive home alone and cry.
Not only has this been a time intensive, physically and emotionally taxing time, I am very unhappy.
Please don’t let yourself me treated so badly. Go elsewhere.

Very disappointing experience. Even if the outcome had been better, the communication our physician was abysmal. My physician seemed to keep confusing me with another American patient. He thought I’d done IVF once when Denmark was our 5th time, chose a protocol that had previously failed us the worst and when I inquired, he got very defensive. Absolutely zero documentation of the treatments given, no HPI or assessment justifying the chosen treatment. I would lose my license if I practiced medicine in the States this way.

I had a really good experience with Jan at the Copenhagen Fertility Center. He was incredibly friendly, accommodating and took the time to explain things thoroughly so I felt safe and well informed. A professional and pleasant conversation – highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I can only share and confirm the many opinions of many people. This clinic is all about revenue.
We weren’t properly informed. We were there twice for insemination. You are given rough information about the donor (height, hair color, eye color) and only upon specific request are you informed about the quality of the sperm. We were told that as soon as the eggs are 1.6 cm in size, ovulation is triggered with a syringe and then the procedure (2 minutes) is carried out the next day (without having to do an ultrasound on the same day). Today we know that the eggs were too small for the procedure, and in perfectly healthy women who want to have a solo mother, you don’t have to trigger ovulation with an injection, but rather use your own body. In addition, we were not told that you should do a test with a Clearblue beforehand to see whether you are ovulating. My wife had an insemination done on a “random chance” basis, although you have to find the “perfect time”. And you even have some influence on that. We were not informed that you had to lie down for 15 minutes after the procedure or that you should not bring any seat heat or hot water bottles near your abdomen for the next 3 days. Due to the risk of infection, you are not allowed to have sexual intercourse or go to the swimming pool for the next 3 days. You are also not allowed to have sexual intercourse for 3 days before the procedure. We were not informed about possible acupuncture before or immediately after the treatment.
We are upset and disappointed that we didn’t listen to the reviews and wasted our money there. We can only recommend avoiding this clinic and we would recommend the Diers Clinic.

Unfortunately, they have not taken me seriously from day 1 even if I have been very transparent regarding my medical history and symptoms. At my last appointment, with my legs up, the doctor managed to say he did not believe me. I guess on a positive note after almost a year of distress, I got a referral for a blood test since the previously assumed treatments did not help my case.
Not just here, but in the whole country, it hurts the doctors to send you to a blood test sadly.

This clinic deserves zero rating! Please do not waste time and money there!
The doctors, especially Svend are cold blooded people, they just collect money and blindly perform their procedures, I was bleeding heavily during the “egg transfer”, and he went to get special equipment on the spot to stop the bleeding, he looked panic and called in another old doctor to help, it was super painful and now I think about it, it might be a surgical accident!
They took ages to reply my emails. Even during “emergency situation – I started bleeding after the transfer, and since it’s my 1st IVF treatment, I felt nervous and not sure if I shall continue progesterone or not” that I called/ message him with the hope to get a quick answer, it’s simply ignored, he never answered my phone calls, never replied my messages.
After all the horrible experience with Svend and his team, I decided to go to another fertility clinic for my second IVF treatment, it was an excellent experience and now I’m a mother of twins 🙂
Kindly avoid this place at all cost!

Underwent fertility treatment in 2016 at the clinic. Bought a package with 3 IVF attempts – and got pregnant on the first try. Now have a daughter aged 4 years and 4 months. I was satisfied with the process with the clinic.

September 2019. Very good contact. Very good support. Clear explanations of procedures. I have no complaints because everything went very well. Golden Egg.

I have not found many doctors who are so professional and who provide you with clear and precise information.
I totally recommend this place.
People with empathy and kindness like few other places in Copenhagen.
I feel very safe being there and in good hands.
