We had a great experience in going through IVF at Unica which resulted in the successful birth of our now 6M old son. Especially grateful to our coordinator Pavla Hrubesova who consistently showed a remarkable level of kindness, support and professionalism. Any and all questions and concerns that we raised were responded to without delay and everything regarding our care was clearly communicated. We felt like we were in good hands throughout the process. The rest of the staff were also always friendly and professional in every respect.

We underwent IVF at Unica and were really satisfied with the entire process. Dr. Lavrov and our coordinator, Maayan, were incredibly supportive, making the experience smooth and reassuring. The egg retrieval went well, and we were consistently updated on the embryo development. If we decide to pursue IVF again, we will definitely return to Unica and Dr. Lavrov. Thank you to the entire team💜

A wonderful clinic, with fantastic people.
On my first visit, me and my partner felt great and very at home. Initially the girl at the secretariat, always polite, always asked me how I was feeling with a smile. Professional doctors, I felt very comfortable in every meeting with them.

MD Cepelac, a wonderful doctor, i immediately felt confident and calm.
DR Bačik, he is the doctor who took us over, he explained everything about the IVF journey, smiling, professional, I felt very comfortable with him.

But the most important part is my coordinator, Veronika! 🤍

A sweetest girl, I felt safe at our first meeting. Smiling, sweet and helpful. Veronika was by my side in everything! I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator than her. But Veronica became like a sister to me, I texted her as soon as I felt frustrated, stressed… and she was always so sweet to me! Morning/Night always available for me, even during het days off 🙏🏻
She made me feel strong and hopeful in this difficult IVF journey.

I have been undergoing my first ever IVF at UNICA Prague clinic. So far the experience has been very good. The clinic is very nice, modern and the stuff is much welcoming and helpful. My treating doctor was Andrei Lavrov. He explained to me the recommended options for my age (41) and helped me find the optimal solution – embryo freezing. I am already past the egg retrieval stage and can tell that the recovery after the surgery was quick. I only experienced some minor cramps on day 1 and 2 after the surgery, but now even that is gone. On day 4 I already went hiking in the woods 😀 And then I’d like to mention my amazingly helpful coordinator – Veronika Francova. First of all she has a very positive and kind attitude which gave me extra confidence during the whole process. Secondly, she was available to answer my questions and concerns any time during the day. Lastly, she very willingly helped me get the documents I needed for my insurance company. We all know that the mental burden of infertility treatment is high. And that’s why I so much appreciate the positive and supporting attitude of both my doctor and coordinator. We are still waiting for final results – the number of surviving embryos on day 5. Hopefully it works out well, so fingers crossed.

We have A LOT to say about our experience at UNICA.

We have been trying for a baby for a couple of years and were advised to go to a clinic that specialised in older women. We had such a terrible time there- the staff were rude, the doctors very brusque, the clinic shabby and the whole experience felt like a huge money making opportunity for them. We were not given clear information about our treatment or how much it would cost. There was no human touch. We wasted lots of money and time and felt very despondent.

We eventually found our way to UNICA. The experience has been entirely the opposite.

Our first meeting was eye opening. We had a very frank discussion with a doctor who told us what our tests results meant and how it was almost impossible to get pregnant naturally. We had had these results for years and no one had, up to this point, even told us this basic fact. She laid out our treatment options and we felt for the first time informed about our situation, our chances and our treatment. We were so grateful.

The clinic is calm and clean. I have never seen it overcrowded. When you arrive you don’t have to wait for hours and if things are delayed you are informed. The receptionists are so helpful and know who you are and seem to genuinely care about being there.

The meetings with the doctors were always positive. We were lucky to be in their care. They all treated us as individuals and seemed genuinely to want to help.

Above all it meant a huge amount to have a co-ordinator. Lucie is incredible. She kept our spirits up when we needed it and reminded us to stay realistic when we needed it to. She explained things patiently to us many many times and was there for us the whole way. She saw me when I woke up from the anesthesia. She said sometimes “there is magic” and we think that’s what she is.

I feel quite emotional writing this. It was the happiest experience for us. And whether or not we have a baby we will always be grateful to every one at UNICA who provided such brilliant care.

The place is pleasant and I was well received
But for months it’s 3 years of journey, from the 16,000€ lost. 2 FC, 3 failures. No explanations, no reasons, beautiful embryos, they say that the chances of success increase with testing…but nothing.
Only eyes to cry. I ruined myself and will never be a mother. For me, I would have had a guaranteed baby benefit from Sanus…
My heart will forever suffer from this 💔😞

We went through our first treatement of IVF over the Christmas 2024 (Duostim). I would like to start with huge thank to the whole team of Unica. From the first contact through web with Dalibor, then to my coordinator Nevena, whom I can’t thank enough for her human approach and patience, who assisted me from preparation before arrival, throughout the entire process, and also after to summarizing the results.

Following, very thankful to the head physician Dr. Cepelak and Dr. Bacik for a professional and at the same time very sensitive attitude.

And not to forget very friendly nurses and ladies on reception.

Clinic is situated directly at the station of yellow metro, which made it easy to reach it. Clinic itself is very modern and waiting area is arranged cosy and to the full comfort of the clients. Although I never really had to wait there for my appointment.

Whole process was very well communicated, the doctors always took enough time to explain all procedures into detail, also openly communicate our chances.
Financial side of the proces was also communicated clearly and openly.

My impression after spending almost one month regularly visiting of the Unica clinic is, that they are very well organised, giving a lot of attention to their patients as individuals, try to let the people feel comfortable during this stressful proces and ofcourse this everything based on high profesionalism.

We are extremely satisfied with the Unica clinic, thanks to the pleasant environment and always professional approach. Special thanks go to the coordinator Veronica Francová, who was our great support. We appreciate her helpfulness, willingness and always kind and positive attitude 🌼

Update: We now have a 1 week old baby girl! To think I almost lost hope and threw out the last embryo because of the miscarriage of the brother embryo. Luckily, the team had set up a meeting (without us even asking!) with a geneticist and convinced us to keep and transfer it. Thank you so much UNICA! We would not have our family if it weren’t for you guys.

Extraordinary. Without going into details, we *technically* experienced a 100% pregnancy rate, which is incredible. They follow all current standards. We had several attempts elsewhere in Europe (Germany) and experienced failed transfer after failed transfer. UNICA was also very different for us because they have coordinators who can communicate newly updated therapy plans directly with you. Shout out to P.H.! Our coordinator was very sympathetic and patient, and more importantly, very organized!

I attended this clinic for four years. At first, I was very satisfied with the care, but then my original doctor left, and I was reassigned to someone else. When I went in for a routine check-up, I started experiencing heavy bleeding afterward and was told that it was completely normal. Until that point, I had never experienced bleeding after a routine check-up, and overall, the communication with the new doctor was very lacking in empathy. When I needed to schedule an appointment for an acute issue, I was told that they could only see me in 10 days, which I find completely unacceptable for an acute problem, especially coming from a “professional private clinic.”
