Dr. Foong moved mountains for us that permanently altered our life for the best – forever. Her and most of the staff gets and deserves the 5 stars for being friendly, accommodating, and incredible people. They were patient with us, gentle over the fragile subject matter, had a sense of urgency with our situation (which very much required it given our medical emergency situation), and also honest with us. Really appreciated it.
Dr. Wong gets an F, however. He was our first point of contact that rushed us through a phone call meeting. He also did not respect a booking that was set for a time, and seemed to be under the impression that we were available all day, telling us that the booking is just a reminder to call at any point during the day. What? We got things to do on a Wednesday.
When we did finally talk he sped through our situation and didn’t ask if we had questions or anything. Found out later he was trying to rush out for a flight to Vancouver. Annoying, but whatever. It meant that we got handed over to the incredible Dr. Foong, so perhaps it was good it happened that way.
Thank you Dr. Foong! We’ll never forget you!
I honestly found this place absolutely amazing at the start. I completely understand they are to help you get pregnant but I felt like everytime I’ve gotten pregnant on my own either the receptionist was really rude when I was asking questions. I also feel like everytime I talk my specialist it’s a 5 min phone call that usually results in nothing other than discussing ivf sometimes I feel like they don’t care unless your pouring thousands of dollars in treatment with them. And again I’ve either spoke to fantastic nurses or other seem like I’m a problem and that hurts
We’ve had a very positive experience at Regional Fertility Program overall. From the very beginning, we were assigned Dr. Gotz, who has been fantastic. He’s extremely knowledgeable and straightforward, which made us feel confident and well-informed throughout the process. We also had the privilege of working with the pharmacy staff, nurses, and embryologists, all of whom were exceptional. Everyone treated us with genuine respect and kindness, which really made a difference during such a sensitive time.
One aspect that stood out to me was the Prelude app. I absolutely loved it—it made communication so much easier compared to relying on the phone. We were able to get updates and messages quickly, and it felt much more organized and efficient than the traditional phone system. It’s a feature I really appreciated and found very helpful.
However, the clinic isn’t without its challenges. The biggest downside for us has been the reception staff and the phone appointment system. The system is frankly a bit of a nightmare—it’s hard to get through, and there’s a lot of back-and-forth required to schedule things. On top of that, the receptionists can sometimes be quite rude, which was honestly frustrating. Even when interacting with them in person, the customer service skills were lacking, which felt out of place given how professional and caring everyone else at the clinic was. It was the one area where the clinic could definitely improve.
Well.. 5 IUI during year and a half in this clinic, no positive result. Between IUIs got pregnant naturally twice. The doctor doesn’t really care about making any changes to protocol and I feel very frustrated:( till now bad experience. I wish someone would care us more
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this clinic and would not recommend it.
Dr. Hilton demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. She showed no understanding or compassion for patients dealing with infertility. During my visits and phone calls, she made me feel belittled for asking legitimate questions and made significant changes to my treatment plan without any prior notification.
The billing department is also highly disorganized and deceptive. The agreement I signed for my procedure referenced a “credit from a previous procedure,” but when I inquired, I was told there was no such credit, and I could not get a clear explanation from the finance team.
To make matters worse, I was prescribed Clomid in October 2024 and was prepared to start the medication. However, when I called the clinic to report the first day of my cycle, the nurse informed me that Dr. Hilton had decided on two natural cycles first. If those were unsuccessful, she would prescribe Letrozole. I asked for clarification, but the nurse said she couldn’t reach Dr. Hilton due to the long weekend.
I have already invested tens of thousands of dollars into this process, only to receive such poor treatment and communication. This has been an incredibly disappointing and distressing experience.
Did the consult to do IVF. Was extremely unimpressed at the fact this is a private facility which is operated the way it is. Everything that is wrong with public healthcare is very present within this company. Get you in. Get you out. No personal touch for the actual process. Months to even get a consult. Then 20 min and you’re done. They made us feel like we were inconveniencing them with our presence. They made the choice easy for us. We went out of country, paid half, received twice the care and have had amazing outcomes so far. There is absolutely nothing positive my wife or I can say about our experience at this place. So many other options. Don’t think this is the only one. Best of luck.
We were severely disappointed.
They increased their fees almost 1k right before we were about to do our third round, so we decided to take a step by rather than get taken advantage of our desperation to try for a child.
The only communication they have sent to us over the last year is our fees are due for cryo storage, not once has there been a check in to see if we are even alive or not.
Since they got bought out by prelude, it seems that all that matters to them is the dollar they make at the end of the day, not trying to help families with infertility.

Terrible
For me getting a place a one star review is not an easy thing, it has to be to the point I needed too.
Reading all the poor reviews given to this public facility funded by citizen tax dollars just gave me a better insight in how they treated me. I have not even gotten to the point of getting first appointment. For most family, having a baby is something truly magical and many of us husband and wife do not always have it easy. I stopped by at this clinic back in May when I was 45 years old, asked their procedure to get into the clinic and was explained I needed a referral from my family doctor. That’s all and maybe I didn’t ask enough question and I didn’t mention my age as I didn’t know at that time it would be a problem. And there is no such thing in their website about age. My family doctor sent the referral on June 21, and I was waiting to get a call. Then braved myself to call only to leave a voicemail. I got a call a few days later just to be explained because I was over 40 that the only service they can over is an egg donor. Only for me to find out 6 months later by the end of December that a colleague got pregnant with her own egg thru this clinic. I made an attempt to find out what I was told differently over 6 months ago and I was told that it’s for women over 45 that the egg donor is the only option. There was no consistency. And today I found out a different thing that it’s for women over 44 that’s their recommendation is to go thru egg donor. After testing and consulting with their doctor, If I’m not comfortable, I can even get to an appointment for a screening and consultation. Then the explanation keep going that I can get screening done which will be covered by AHS but everything after that will be on private funding. How will I know that if I never get a chance? It keep going or I can get my family doctor or a gynaecologist (which probably will take 6 months to see one) to send me for screening or go to private clinic.
Has this been explained throughly back in June, I wouldn’t have my 6 months wondering. Thank you for wasting my time from the start. Even though they did say it was this was sent to my family doctor but I was never informed. Not sure who’s telling the truth.
I’m sorry for those who have bad experience with this public funded facility. And I’m happy for you that got a good result from this clinic, but please don’t judge us on why we’re giving a one star review.
I wish you truly would help build a family as your motto says.
