I never write reviews, and I was recommended to come to this clinic, but I am quite fed up with this cold IVF business that fertility seems to be, so I share some thoughts, even if they are my personal experiences only.

I cannot say the doctors were not nice or rude, but the overall experience was simply dissapointing. I also think that they know what they are doing, and think the lab is professional. But one does not see this.

The worst was, I do not need cluddling nor too much attention, I needed just more than 10 min and more focus on me as a patient and not a statistical sheet I never asked for (which didnt even fit my case, and was 10 years old). I needed to travel from abroad, but was always and every time rushed out from every appointment (max 10 min for each), this left me totally stressed and clueless about what to ask (hence, I forgot so much)

Everthing was rushed and unclear, I was given so many sheets to sign but rushed through what they mean, equally with the next steps, which I was told but not really in ways I could remember

The admin was confusing and chaotic, I never got a “befund” out of any appointment nor was a told why and what for the blood is taken (still do not know what happened to my follicles, but I got a very detailed list over 300 euro for blood tests)

While I did not hear from them often, nor to ask if the IVF worked, I had to actually ask about the receipts twice, but then once I got it, I was immediately threatened with a lawyer within a week.

I had too many doctors to speak to and meet, and no one looked at my medical history, barely at me, kept asking me the same questions. Ulitmately, I was not even given advise on any additional aspect liked to IVF (like Immun issues) as being told “they do not want to get involved in other diagnostics”, but I was asked to look up podcasts to get more information (sorry, but this is nice, but not what doctors are for, friends might say that)

I learned a lot of do & donts by myself, but I am aware that this is common for many IVF clinics. I keep hearing the same stories. So I am not sure if this clinic is “worse” or just normal. Cant tell anymore, but it should not be this way.

“Don’t Waste Your Time and Money at This Unfriendly Clinic!”

Everybody, do not go to this clinic. They’re unfriendly and treat you like one of many – there’s no individual assessment of each and every woman
After having had a few attempts at ivf, they proposed that the issue might be the polyp in my uterus. Excuse me?? Why didn’t you say this to begin with and suggest a surgery immediately, instead of after I’ve spent unbelievable amounts of money, not to mention the emotional toll this process takes on you?? Also, despite having an appointment at 8.10 in the morning, they still make you wait for 40 minutes!! How unprofessional can this place be? Save your money and emotions and go somewhere to else ladies!!!

Disappointing Experience with Egg Retrieval: Only 3 Eggs After €4,000, But Found Success in Barcelona

It took me a long time to write this review, but here it goes:

After spending nearly 4,000 euros, I only retrieved 3 eggs. I understand that every woman is different, but I did expect a more thorough monitoring of my ovarian stimulation. I had to purchase medications at the last minute because no one seemed to know what I needed to take or how many days I should be injecting myself.

At each appointment, I asked if everything was progressing well, if the follicles were developing properly, and the response was always, “It’s okay.” Naively, I thought that since this was a privately paid procedure, the treatment would be better, but that was not the case.

When I came out of surgery after the egg retrieval, doctor Pauly said, “Okay, it was a small number, but we can repeat the procedure next month,” as if it didn’t cost time, emotions, and a lot of money!

It was extremely disappointing, and I thought I would never undergo this procedure again. However, two years later, I decided to try again, but this time at a clinic in Barcelona. The treatment there was completely different—they reviewed my blood tests and ultrasounds, adjusting the medication for egg maturation as they observed the follicles’ growth. The doctors were incredibly empathetic, and in the end, they retrieved 15 eggs, 13 of which are in perfect condition. I paid less and received better care. Additionally, egg storage is free for the first four years, whereas in Berlin, I have to pay €480 annually for just 3 eggs.

I definitely do not recommend this clinic.

“I Do Not Recommend This Clinic Due to Poor Communication and Negligent Care.”

This clinic is absolutely not recommended. There was a very rough tone, especially on the phone. No matter what you called about, the women who answered the phone were always annoyed. Ms. Marr was never prepared for what we were dealing with. Apparently it wasn’t well documented in general because nobody knew what was going on. After a blood test and an ultrasound, I was immediately prescribed hormones.
In a new fertility center it came out that my husband’s sperm wasn’t good enough. Which was already evident on the spermiogram from this fertility center! But prescribe hormones!
They also charge 300 euros for a chlamydia test, which is obviously covered by the health insurance in other practices.

The entire treatment was reorganized to the point of negligent

“Grateful for 6 Years of Compassionate Care from Dr. Kohn and Her Team!”

We are extremely satisfied. We have been receiving treatment from Dr. for 6 years. Kohn. She is very nice, empathetic, competent and always helpful. The appointments are quick and uncomplicated.
We have already had our child. He would have 2 years.
The team was really nice too.
We are grateful!
