10 latest reviews of Ginemed Madrid Pardo de Aravaca
My experience in this clinic was 5 and unfortunately it has been disastrous. They give us a budget, they tell you that the medication is approximately €800/900, we spent €2000. The day before the puncture they send me an email that we have to pay money… we ask that all this is paid for. But hey, we don’t have any problem and we pay it. They took 3 eggs from me and only 2 embryos passed through. The 1 Fvi came out negative and the explanation why… they don’t give you any explanations. Since I only had 1 embryo left, they gave me endiometer tests and immunological tests to ensure that embryo. The tests gave much less the immunological tests that they gave me under the white ovules. The doctor said that I would have to prick myself to raise those levels and everything had a solution. When I go down to the hospital pharmacy to pay for the medication for the white suppositories I see that I have a… syndrome. But no one explains to me what it is or what causes it or anything…. They transfer my last embryo and the next day I call because I was having trouble breathing and they send me to steam baths because I can’t take anything. (I was asthmatic) the next 2 days I had to go to the hospital because I couldn’t breathe… I had an asthma attack. In the emergency room they did a beta and I had it at 0.47. The doctor explained to me that to be pregnant I had to be between 5 or 10. I already knew that I was not pregnant because no matter how much the hormone doubled every 2 or 3 days… that was not enough. Call the infirmary to tell what happened. The infirmary tells me that I am taking ovitrel when I tell him that I am taking everything except ovitrel. (It is worrying that nursing does not know the medication I am taking) he tells me that I am more than a week away from the beta and I have 4 days left. He tells me that he is making me a flyer to go to another hospital and I tell him that okay. I can’t find any hospital that can do the beta test for me and I tell them that I’m already waiting for the day of my beta test. They call me for 2 to find out if I am going to take the beta. To whom I answer that I say who said that I am NOT going to take the beta. I went to my beta day and it came out negative, I spoke to my doctor to find out why not after undergoing everything…. And his answer is I don’t know. I was so upset to talk to the person in charge of the department but it only helped us get rid of it.
The star 🌟 is for the window of light they offer. From then on, with a cool head, I hope that no one has to go through my situation. There is an emotional factor in the process of seeking pregnancy that is undoubtedly predominant. Still, emotions aside, rationally everything is going wrong. There are no protocols or methodologies. The shapes are not ideal either. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. There are no protocols in returning calls, emails, medication, treatments. In my case, and I start at the end, more than two weeks ago I was on the eve of starting a new transfer process, the fourth (the previous three were failed). And that process could not be completed because of the 5 embryos that remained, they did not survive the thawing or puncture to test them. The truth is I don’t know because I still haven’t received a medical report that explains what happened. It’s been more than two weeks now. TWO WEEKS!!! Frustration is not enough. I didn’t come to Ginemed to save a few euros, but if someone believed that because it had more “comfortable” prices compared to other medical centers, this was their option… My recommendation is that they think twice. The pain they have caused me, the lost years, making me feel like just another statistic (a failed statistic), there is no way to make up for it. I had even left a review on Instagram and they blocked my name and deleted my comment. No serious clinic should make failed cases and reviews that are not 5 disappear. Patients have the right to make informed decisions. In my case, I’m still waiting for answers. It is the least after having gone through three transfers, with 4 embryos and 5 more embryos (of apparent quality) destroyed.
Wonderful! Each and every one of them.
My case is complex and they have accompanied me, advised and encouraged me at all times!
Special thanks to Azucena and Nuria!
Very grateful to the entire team, especially Dr Aída Redondo, she was very understanding and close at all times. Thank you because we were finally able to fulfill a dream!!!
I have nothing but good words for the treatment received at this clinic. My process was led by Cristina Braña and it went great, I couldn’t be happier.
I would like to thank all the people who have participated in the process, both gynecologists, nurses and reception staff. Always friendly and super professional.
Many thanks for everything!
Hello, my experience at Ginemed has not been due to fertility issues. I went with my 1st year Laboratory students, future laboratory technicians. The visit was led by Beatriz, the center’s embryologist. After a fantastic and very didactic explanation, he showed us the facilities of the center and of course, the IVF Laboratory. I have to say that the facilities are magnificent, with the latest technologies for IVF.
My students came out delighted, with a lot of professional motivation to be able to work in an IVF laboratory.
Thank you very much to everyone, to the girls at the reception, and especially to Beatriz, a great professional. Thank you so much
Very good treatment by the entire team, from the first consultation to the last. At all times they explain each phase and options. Highly recommended!
Wonderful experience at this clinic. The entire team is super attentive, especially the treatment received by the girls in the laboratory! They have been great and have always been available for any questions. Eternally grateful to them and to the entire Ginemed team.
A thousand thanks to all the ginemed team!! They are another level, thank you for making my dream come true
“After Multiple Failed IVF Transfers, I’m Frustrated and Seeking Answers”
I am going to break the statistic, since after having good results in the extraction of eggs and good progress of the embryos, being of good quality, no matter how beautiful they are morphologically, they have not managed to implant. The truth is that we look back, and after 4 failed transfers, with 5 embryos and an implantation failure study, at 34 years old, we still don’t know why.
In this last attempt we have gone with all the possible medication (immunomodulators) and we have not obtained even a small beta. This clinical conclusion is really not researched or proven.
I believe that this treatment is not just about trial and error transfers, we consider that we have done everything on our part, we have done everything that has been recommended to us (biopsy, blood tests, ultrasounds, tests of all kinds) and we have not obtained a pregnancy. It is a hard road physically, both emotionally and financially. It started out as a 10 in support, empathy, and follow-up and became a 5 in the end (except for the nursing team, which is the best)
