It took me a long time to decide to write this review, but I can't sleep.. I recently had my 1st trimester screening. About a week before the examination, I was sent a text saying that due to the measures, one person may accompany me.. I say to myself - ok, it will be a partner, someone is also taking a mother, a sister, a friend, so a 2-year-old child for whom I don't have guarding will not be a problem. However, what happened at the private clinic, where the examination costs 1,800 CZK and takes a maximum of 7 minutes, it turned out to be a big problem. This examination is supposed to be something special for the expectant mother and her partner (at least in my opinion). A friend took a vacation and we went. Both with a smile, which immediately fell off very quickly at the lower reception. With the words PLEASE, I stayed here as if dumbfounded and looked at the lady at the reception, and I was told again that the child is counted as a separate person - I really heard that for the first time in the time of covid and I didn't want to believe that this was happening. I tried to explain to my 2-year-old child that he would have to wait in the car - I absolutely do not understand what was going through my mind at that moment - I should have thanked him, turned on my heel and left the clinic, when I saw the expression of my disappointed friend, who was so he was looking forward to seeing the little miracle in my belly, I grabbed Adélka and carried her away, she was already crying, begging me that she didn't want to go in the car, that she wanted to be with me Well, after a while we returned to the reception and they sent us to the second reception on the first floor, where they were supposed to send us for an examination. We were uncompromisingly told that the partner must wait outside with the child. At that moment I didn't notice anymore, I was sick to my stomach and about to pass out. That was the second moment I should have turned and walked away, again I didn't - in retrospect I realize that was my big mistake. Well, I decided to pick up the phone, my dad closed the shop and came to look after Adélka for those 7 minutes, but the whole event lasted over an hour. At the doctor's place, however, I was in a state of disgust, incomprehension and total piss. I only heard the last sentence and that everything is fine. Thank God. I have to say that I wish all the staff, management and doctors that this never happens to them. So that they don't encounter a totally disgusting approach either from an individual or from an organization. In my opinion, a private clinic is not only characterized by the fact that we pay for some procedures, but above all, in my opinion, it is about access. That there is some added value in dealing and behaving. A big disappointment for me and I will ask my gynecologist for the second screening that I want to go elsewhere. And if I may recommend, add to the text message that the person is also marrying a small child, because I don't believe that this happened only to us. Having a one-year-old child in an egg, I suppose the situation would be exactly the same - leave the child outside and don't forget to pay. Have a nice rest of the day.
