Please do not pay for ivf as the process is expensive and they approach every patient the same.

I agree with the reviews. Our experience has been harrowing.

Little success and little care.

I had a pregnancy loss and the doctor made me whilst bleeding wait post emergency visit and charged us over 250 to tell us what we already know then try to get us to have a 2500 procedure. It was horrific. No care just a grin. Absolutely disgusting. No words. And I hope no one attends this clinic.

I feel the doctors in private ivf are in it for the money versus the care. Ivf should be bulk billed and accessible to couples who have difficulty conceiving. It is for the rich and not those who genuinely need it

I urge all to seek ivf through bulk billed practices or consider options.

Australia is well behind America and other countries who have higher success rates.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Julia Barton and Nurse Heather.

Dr. Julia Barton is an outstanding doctor. She took the time to listen attentively and fully understand my concerns. Her thorough approach ensures that every aspect of my care is carefully considered and addressed. I greatly appreciate her dedication to patient-centered care and highly recommend her.

I had a similarly postive experience with Nurse Heather who thoroughly explained each step of the process, helping me feel well-informed and at ease. Her compassionate and professional approach made a noticeable difference to my visit.

We recently welcomed our beautiful IVF baby into the world and we couldn’t be more grateful to Genea for giving us this blessing. We saw Dr Epee and immediately felt comfortable – which is a huge thing for me and my husband. Dr Epee explained the process and believed that we will have our baby but that these things take time. He is a spiritual practitioner who talked about the mind, body, soul connection that’s also needed with the science to make IVF successful and even still it is still a roll of a dice – no guarantee. As an action and results driven person, it was sometimes hard to trust in the process but Dr Epee made good on his promises and after 1 failed FET, our 2nd FET was successful and now we have a special baby in our arms just as Dr Epee promised. The admin staff and the nurses were all fantastic – again as a results driven person I found waiting for calls for blood results etc difficult but when I let go and trusted the process it helped to wait for the call rather than madly chase up. I won’t lie, sometimes the calls felt like an eternity but they always followed through. Special mentions to Ella, Suzie and Ruby who always went above and beyond and are a wealth of knowledge. Thank you Dr Epee and Genea for our perfect girl.

Dr Falconer Genea’s GP was fantastic, I would highly recommend seeing her, she not only gives you all the correct tests and scans to complete for your first IVF consultation but she was so thorough with me she actually helped diagnose and treat my thyroid issues (I had seen multiple GPs about this).

The nursing staff were amazing at Genea, so caring and professional, we had so much information on the process and they followed up on every question and call I had.

When we first came to Genea, I was above the BMI rating which was disheartening as we had been trying for 3 years and we had to wait some additional time (it took me about 6 months to lose the weight to progress, all they could offer me was blood tracking initially). I was upset, but this is standard with IVF clinics in Australia and this is due to the risks of the medication and use of anaesthetic during the process. I felt that Genea was upfront about this in their pre appointment email and that our specialist was professional when discussing this with us.

All of the IVF specialists that we met, our doctor, the Specialists that performed my egg collection and implantation were professional and friendly. They put me at ease and I found the process to be straight forward.

My sister is doing IVF through a different provider and based on our experiences I would recommend Genea because of their high level of communication, competitive pricing, their app (including being able to see your embryos) and making the process easy.

We changed IVF clinics to Genea after many positive recommendations from friends, and we wish we came here first. Every single person who works there is professional, warm, and makes you feel like nothing is too much trouble. Emails and phone calls are followed up, everything is explained, my husband is included in the process and his presence is welcomed in my scans for egg collection and transfer cycle’s. I’ve felt so cared for this time around, our experience has been so vastly different from our last time with the other clinic. It makes all the difference, no matter the outcome. Thankyou so much.

After seeing one of the drs from here, in his private clinic and having a traumatic experience/ completely disregarded, we changed to the clinic direct and saw Dr Julia Barton.
After a year and half of trying to conceive, It was the breath of fresh air we needed. She is compassionate and understanding, she makes you feel heard.
She sent both of us for further testing, which confirmed what my GP said but first fertility dr said I was making up.
Dr Julia got me on the right medication, regulated my cycles in the space of 2 months, which immediately improved my mental health.
Within 6 months of my first appointment and after only 1 round of OI, a pregnancy!!
The nurses are so so lovely, compassionate and knowledgeable.
The only downfall is the lack of support once you are pregnant but everything in the lead up I can’t fault.

Very disappointed with my experience at Genea. Made to feel like just a number and a money grab. Went through two failed transfers and not once did I see or speak to my doctor. Then when asked to see him the wait for an appointment was 5 months. Understand there are lots of people in same situation but they need to cap the amount of patients they see and focus on the ones they have.

We can only but compliment the exceptional care and consideration for living rurally whilst requiring fertility assistance at Genea Perth. From our first telehealth appt, first contact face to face, to the 2 weeks for our cycle being in Perth. I can assure that we received the best care and personal updates extremely frequent. Even the finance which was effortlessly rebated the day after egg retrieval, for us not having to worry about it once was a relief. Additionally, every team member treated us with respect and care with every interaction. Whilst we are so happy with our fresh embryo transfer that has resulted in a successful pregnancy we are truly sad to say goodbye, but know we will always be grateful and recommend to any of the 1 in 6 couples who need the same support we so luckily felt privileged to receive.
