I went as an egg donor and the experience has been very unsatisfactory. I consider that there is very little coordination between the professionals who treated me and the process in general seemed unserious to me and with little respect for the time and process of the donor. Although all the people who assisted me did so with kindness, my perception is that each one was limited to doing their test without knowing more about the process, having to explain information that other people on the team had given me and repeating questions on numerous occasions. In all the tests I came out with the feeling of "what now?" It is the second time that I write this review since it was not published, I understand that due to the length, so I am going to summarize it in that the lack of respect for people's time and effort has caused my experience to be very negative . Numerous appointments and tests that could have been condensed into one, have made me dizzy (at first they rejected me due to a piercing, then they contacted me to reschedule me for other tests and this information was not transmitted within the team). Finally, and after several contradictions between members of the team who told me different things, the nurse gave me the contraceptive pill and, after three weeks of taking it, they called me to rule me out of the process due to a diagnosis that I indicated from the first form. that was under study. After expressing my discomfort for the poor attention received, for having valued my time and effort so little (the different appointments on different days, mobility with the cost of transportation, adaptation of work schedules asking for favors, etc.) as well as my health since I consider that they should have waited to give me any type of medication without knowing that I was going to donate for sure (especially when it is not a chance encounter but something previously notified to which they had not given the importance that should have been given according to the verbatim words of the person who informed me by phone that they were ruling me out as a donor), the response I receive is that I have been given expensive tests for free and that I have been given the opportunity to donate even though it was ultimately not possible. So. I'm going to spare myself comments about the latter since it seems outrageous to me that on top of that it has to be me, the one who intended to carry out an act of solidarity, who perhaps also owes them a thank you for their lack of care and attention. Despite all this, I am still waiting for the call from customer service to compensate for all these unnecessary efforts and risks if they had read and properly assessed the first form I filled out.
