This place will take an appalling toll on your mental health, at a particularly vulnerable time in your life. Whatever appointments you secure, be prepared to have them cancelled continually with no explanation, only to be rebooked for many months later. The next appointment is always “another 5 months away”. Due to strikes and other NHS pressures, you will be strung out again and again… I was referred by the GP at the 1-year mark of TTC, and it took almost another 3 years to get to a first embryo transfer stage at this clinic (4 years in total). We’re now approaching Year 5, and have just had our appointment cancelled, again. It’s a cruel game to play with people with a ticking body clock. I do not blame the individuals working within an overstretched NHS, but the customer service and sensitivity at this particular clinic is shocking. I truly wish we had not wasted crucial years in our fertility journey with this place. They’ve taken time we can never get back.

Initial appointment to the fertility clinic took a long amount of time . I feel not enough tests were provided to investigate infertility/rule out any suspicions of having further miscarriage especially when there was already history of miscarriages. Helped me get pregnant after being given a relevant fertility medication -however this ended up in a devastating and painful miscarriage! God knows when we will be given the next actual appointment to have a more efficient fertility treatment such as IVF. Waiting times at Luton fertility clinic are at least ridiculous- 6 months to be offered an initial appointment which lasted no more than 10 minutes ! Zero empathy is shown! Appointments are rushed!

I Would not even give 1 star. Don’t waste your time (and health!).
Failed my transfer in March and it’s December and still no follow up appointment. They cancelled my appointment in July (strike), in November (consultant on holidays). I am not going to waste my time anymore.
Also:
some staff were not friendly at all,
no communication,
They did not help me when I had complications after my egg retrieval.
This place is like a factory.

Myself and my husband have recently been to this clinic for our first round of IVF. Unfortunately, this round was not successful but I cannot fault the clinic at Luton. They have been brilliant. Particularly Chamika and Jocelyn, who provided me with so much support, always answered my questions quickly and clearly, and were very reassuring to me at all of my appointments. This level of support made a difficult time a lot easier to go through, so thank you.

Absolute joke of a place. Trust the reviews with this one. Had a letter back in February saying that I have a phone call appointment on the 12th of July. 12th of July comes and they don’t call me. Then I got a letter 2 days after the call was meant to be saying they rearranged it to the 2nd of December!! I called the hospital and complained, then got another letter saying that they can ring me on the 22nd of July. Yet again they didn’t call me, I have now received a letter from the fertility clinic saying I have been kicked off of their system for not ‘attending my phone appointment’ even though they are the ones who didn’t ring me, but somehow that’s my fault. This is not helpful to somebody who already feels hopeless with fertility. Don’t waste your time with this place, save yourself the extra heartache

When we started our journey at the fertility clinic the reviews here made me nervous. I am currently in the middle of my treatment schedule and I can honestly say I cannot fault the clinic. Every member of staff, without exception, have been friendly, kind and genuinely supportive. Treatment was offered quickly with very little wait time other than that of personal choice. I also like that the clinic is in a separate building to the main hospital as it feels more intimate and welcoming. Big thank you to the team!
