Late in 2020 was diagnosed with breast cancer when we were still in the middle of growing our family. The fact I needed 6 months of chemotherapy combined with my age meant a low likelihood of conceiving naturally after that so fertility preservation was recommended. I saw several clinics and found the team at Quiron not only extremely empathetic to my situation however also very professional and caring. Other centres I went to appeared very mechanical and more concerned with the bottom line rather than the human element of growing your family.

Towards the end of last year we decided to do one attempt for another baby. From the first phone call the team remembered who I was from 3 years earlier and we started the process of turning the eggs I had frozen into embryos. Dr Brandt and his team of doctors in the lab were extremely communicative the whole way through. I ask a lot of questions to which they always took the time out to answer without frustration and in detail.

Thanks to the skill of Dr. Brandt and his team we conceived on the first attempt- I´m now happily 21 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl. I cannot thank them enough for their support and professionalism from the ladies at reception to Dr Brandt and Dr Gosalvez themselves. No other clinic I saw came close to the service, empathy and compassion I received by them- I guess one of the benefits of being a smaller clinic with the facilities of a big hospital.

I can´t thank them enough for making my dream family a reality.

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma a year ago. As I needed chemotherapy, the possibility of being infertile as a side effect truly scared me. Being a 17 year old at that time, having that opportunity taken away from me at such a young age was something I never prepared for. Dr. Gosalvez was with me from the beginning all the way to the end when they harvested my eggs. One of the best doctors I’ve ever had and I couldn’t be more grateful for him and his team.
