Dogus IVF Fertility Clinic – Reviews and Prices

After having a failed round of IVF in the UK we chose to have our second round overseas with Dogus fertility in Northern Cyprus and it was the best decision we ever made. We have recently given birth to our beautiful baby boy who is absolutely perfect. Andri was super in organising our treatment and helping us understand the process and finances etc.

We stayed in the south and travelled up for scans and treatment when required (although if you choose this method then just be aware there are criteria for cars crossing the north/south border and I’m not sure you can use hire cars – also don’t forget your passport). You do need separate car insurance to drive in the north but this can be purchased at the border for not a lot of money).

Dr Sevket was professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I ended up with double the number of day 5 embryos compared with our UK round so we even have some on ice. I felt confident that I was in safe hands throughout. When Andri isn’t present there are other people who translate for us so that we understood what was happening!

All medications for after the transfer can be purchased at pharmacies in the north (no prescription needed) although the clinic do provide a prescription should you wish to purchase in the south.

I purchased stimulation medication in the UK and used cherish to translate the prescription to a UK one which was simple enough. Andri then provided me with a letter to travel with the medication for the airline. I placed in a cool bag with ice packs and the security staff at the airport had a quick check but were perfectly happy so no issues whatsoever.

The appointments were all timely, all staff were friendly and you can park outside the clinic for free.

If it is your first IVF round and you are unsure of the process I recommend staying close to the clinic so that you have support when you need it and can pop for them to do your injections etc. I think the clinic can offer taxis to and from their recommended hotel list (at cost).

We owe everything to Dogus fertility for making all of our dreams come true! We can’t thank them enough! If you are considering treatment here then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I don’t recommend!

I had serious issues unfortunately, with the patient care / communication of this clinic even before my failed pregnancy .

Where do I begin :

1 . They claim their success rate is 80% yet with double embryos , and top quality embryos I didn’t succeed .

2.The most unprofessional , cold and insensitive coordinator I was dealing with ( I won’t mention her name but she is the local coordinator for the nationals ) even though I should have been connected with the English speaking coordinator. Although the English speaking co ordinator has been friendly and helpful whenever I contacted her , but apparently it was an issue and a real problem each time I wanted to speak to her . This clinic doesn’t work as a team and everyone works against each other .

3.Nearly all , expect a few nurses , the rest are not friendly, are cold and not sympathetic at all. A few showed some empathy and kindness.

4. You get abandoned when you return to your home country , no one cares about you anymore . They are just a money trap , and you’re just a number .

5. I would sincerely advise you take into account all the feedback , and make an informed decision for yourself . However I would go no where near this clinic again in the future. If you don’t want extra stress and hassle . IVF is already a very mentally and physically, emotionally, not to mention financially challenging. This clinic adds to your pain !

6. I really wouldn’t wish it upon anyone the heartache and grief that clinic caused . As there are so many other reputable clinics out there , and I wish my first experience was more positive . Even if the pregnancy didn’t progress, I still wanted to experience a positive experience and that’s down to a clinic and their staff’s conduct .

7. I’m not even sure that the Dr knows how patients are treated and the lack of pre and post care . I never engaged with him personally because he doesn’t speak English.

Wish I had taken into account some of the reviews of other patients , who have expressed similar experiences ! Lesson learned listen to what others have said !

The best clinic that you can only recommend!!! We were looked after by Mert Abi, a super nice and very helpful person. If I had any questions, I could reach him at any time. He and his team always tried to accommodate all requests. We were given very good advice and the whole treatment was very uncomplicated. The clinic is our top priority because they really try and made our biggest dream come true. Couples who give up find very high hopes again at Doğuş IVF Clinic because they make the impossible, possible!

Works with a pseudo surrogacy agency called success which literally scams you out of your money. From there, I don’t see how we can trust this clinic. They call themselves gayfriendly in reality it’s quite the opposite, he takes advantage of your desire to have a child to extract money from LGBT people and believe me they make no attempt, that’s for sure. In comparison, I’m doing a program in Colombia, and I realized that everything he promised me was bullshit. I’m from France, we’re attracted by lower than average prices, that should have alerted me. Simply scammers. So maybe for the hereros they do things, that would explain certain positive opinions but for the gays it is simply pure homophobia.

Don’t trust Victoria, Alyona and Irina…
They just want to get as much money out of you as possible without any results… Run away before they take even more money out of you…. Fake

What can I say, I first made in contact with this clinic Andri to be precise March 2023, after I have had several failed fertility treatments elsewhere, I can’t believe that I’m writing this but it’s true as I’m looking at my babies with disbelief knowing that they are mind and indeed dreams do come true.
Well to cut story short this clinic gives me hope and made my dreams of becoming a mom come true. No thank you is enough especially Andri who was my number one contact from the first day to when I found out that I’m pregnant last September 2023.she make such that all my needs are met and arranged everything from hotel to taxi that picked me up from the airport and transport to and from the clinic all the staff are amazing I was treated with dignity,respect and compassion and they were very professional too.
