The clinic’s multidisciplinary team of renowned consultants (e.g., Dr Saab, Dr Al‑Chami, Dr Seshadri, Dr Theodorou) together with expert embryologists, nurses and administrative staff provide compassionate, evidence‑based guidance, transparent cost structures and round‑the‑clock responsiveness, ensuring each patient receives a tailored treatment plan that maximizes success while fostering a caring, inclusive environment.

Why choose CRGH Portland?

  • check_circle Expert Medical Team

Dr. Efstathios Theodorou, Dr. Montse Duran, Dr. Daniella Cardenas, Dr. Ozturk and other consultants provide precise, evidence‑based treatment plans and clear explanations at each stage. Their expertise is credited with numerous successful pregnancies, including complex cases such as low ovarian reserve and multiple embryo transfers. Patients describe the doctors as knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in outcomes.

  • check_circle Warm, Personalized Support

Receptionist Jackie, PA Megan, nurses like Shelley McGeeney, and embryologists such as Suzane consistently deliver compassionate, individualized care. The clinic offers free counselling, a 24/7 nurse helpline, and attentive follow‑up, making patients feel heard and supported throughout emotionally demanding cycles.

  • check_circle Clear Clinical Communication

Appointment scheduling, scan coordination, and step‑by‑step explanations are praised for being well‑organised and stress‑free. Many patients highlight the online portal as a useful tool for tracking messages, instructions, and test results, and appreciate the thorough briefings provided before procedures.

  • check_circle High Success Outcomes

Multiple testimonials cite live births from IVF, IUI, and egg donation cycles, often after previous failures at other clinics. The clinic’s careful monitoring, timely adjustments, and skilled embryology team are credited with achieving healthy babies on first or early transfer attempts.

What to watch out for at CRGH Portland?

  • warning Administrative & Billing Confusion

Patients report unexpected invoices exceeding £1,700, aggressive debt‑collector calls, and frequent errors in contracts and charges. Lack of transparent pricing before tests leads to financial strain and frustration during an already stressful process.

  • warning Communication Gaps

Emails and portal messages are often unanswered for days, phone lines experience long hold times, and new IT systems have caused missed or delayed messages. These delays hinder timely scheduling of scans, prescriptions, and follow‑up care.

  • warning Inconsistent Staff Interactions

Instances of rude behaviour from staff members, such as Zahava Edelstein, and reports of poor after‑care for overseas patients highlight variability in service quality. Some patients felt abandoned after procedures, receiving minimal guidance for post‑operative pain.

  • warning Cost & Accessibility Concerns

The clinic is described as one of the more expensive options, with high treatment fees adding to emotional pressure. While clinical care is praised, the financial burden and occasional lack of clear cost information are noted as significant drawbacks.

From the very beginning, CRGH were incredibly professional, organised, and supportive. Dr Duran created a truly personalised plan, carefully taking my endometriosis into consideration, which made me feel listened to and cared for. After trying for several years and going through a failed round on the NHS, I was finally blessed with my daughter last year. I will always be grateful to CRGH and especially to Dr Duran

We would wholeheartedly recommend CRGH for IVF treatment. Throughout what was a long and challenging fertility journey, the team provided exceptional care, guidance, and reassurance, ultimately helping us achieve a healthy and successful pregnancy.

Our consultant, Dr Jara Ben Nagi, was outstanding. Her advice was always informed by the latest research, and we truly felt she was personally invested in helping us reach our goals despite the difficulties we faced. She was thoughtful, responsive, and regularly checked in on us, supported by her wonderful secretary, Shanon, who was also incredibly helpful.

The Receptionists, Nurses, Embryologists and rest of the staff were equally excellent. Having access to such supportive, approachable professionals during such a stressful time made an enormous difference to our experience.

Our IVF path was not without its challenges, filled with uncertainty, hope, and long periods of waiting. Yet throughout it all, your compassion, expertise, and unwavering support helped us stay positive. Your commitment and care carried us through each hurdle and ultimately made our dream come true.

And to everyone at CRGH who stood by us at every stage of this journey, thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts.
