Everyone at Coastal Fertility specialists was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in for our first consult we could feel the difference and how welcoming everyone was. After our first consult with Dr McLaughlin, we both felt we finally had some answers and a plan. The staff (especially Mindy) was there for me every step of the way to answer questions and I never felt like i was having to go through IVF alone. I highly recommend them to anyone who dreams of having a family! We will forever be grateful!

The financial side of things, especially if you have insurance, is a nightmare. Required our own constant follow-ups and mediation with insurance and coastal. The billing never seemed clean or clear cut, even with itemization and we probably could have saved money just by going out of pocket with their non insurance rates.

Re Reply: The rates changed once we presented insurance. Out of pocket with insurance was more than their non insurance rate.

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Coastal Fertility. The nurses, staff, and doctors were all phenomenal. We loved Dr McLaughlin!! Our nurse Alex was a lifesaver throughout the whole process – answering countless questions and being such a great support system when we needed it! We welcomed a baby girl in January and were so excited to share the news with our team at Coastal!

Update – we made good on our financial responsibility but are STILL waiting on someone from the practice to send us the necessary documents to complete ooycte destruction. I have always believed that you can talk to a person instead of the internet void but this practice doesnt seem to value that. Instead of a snarky Google response, how about a call from the clinical team? That would be the professional way to handle a clinical concern.
Paid to retrieve and freeze eggs over 5 years ago and then was able to get pregnant naturally early last year. Messaged the clinical team to see what could/should be done with remaining ooyctes and specifically noted that our family was complete and we did not want to continue to pay for storage. Not only did no one from the clinical team ever respond to us…they sent us to collections for failing to pay oocyte storage. We were open to donating to another couple in need or donating for research but did not receive a single message or call back from clinical team so it was very evident that money mattered first. Was told that billing and clinical do not have access to the same information so buyer beware – get everything in writing (especially if you talk to someone on the phone and not the portal). I hope that if you need Coastal Fertility, you find success and a happy ending. Also hope that happy ending doesn’t also end with being sent to collections…

I cannot thank Coastal Fertility Specialist enough! I had 2 procedures done at their office, and each time was so smooth and such an easy process from beginning to end. Dr Schnorr and his whole team are so kind and caring, I felt so welcomed and at ease each time I had my procedures done. Thank you!

Good luck talking to someone by telephone. I’ve now called 6 times during business hours only to get an answering machine no matter which option you choose.

I could not be more thankful for Coastal. I am the very grateful and happy mother of two now! The doctors, nurses, techs, and staff were all incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process. They made it as easy as it could be and shared all of my emotions either happy or sad.

We had a wonderful experience with Coastal Fertility! We would not have our miracle girl if it wasn’t for Dr. McLaughlin. The nurses are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. The doctors are professional and it’s apparent they want the best for you during your fertility journey. You definitely feel like part of the family and not just another patient walking through their door.

Our experience at Coastal was fantastic! Dr. Schnorr was so kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Helped us conceive and welcome our double rainbow baby! 💙 The office feels welcoming and comforting. After years of moving through typical OBGYN offices, it was nice to be in a location that didn’t feel so sterile and medical! Hannah was lovely to work with as well, she was always quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. Which, if you’re dealing with infertility, you know makes all the difference! Everyone at Coastal was empathetic, kind, and great at their job! Highly recommend!!
