Clínica Ginefiv Barcelona – Reviews and Prices

My husband and I live in Ireland. We chose Ginefiv because of the availability of services and price. Dr. Lin and the medical team remained in contact and supported at all times.
The treatment went very well, and that is why after having our first daughter, we were confident about going for a second treatment. .
Today we can enjoy our family, with two healthy and beautiful girls thanks to your help. I am very grateful to the Ginefiv medical team for their professionalism and kindness.

We are not happy with the clinic and wouldn’t recommend to do IVF there. They didn’t ask us to do a complete check before the treatment, so you won’t know if you are suitable for doing IVF. And during the operation, the anesthetiser is not professional, she tried several times but cannot get the needles into my vessels and after the operation I had bruises on my hands. After my egg retrieval, I was told 10 eggs have been retrieved but finally only one embryo is successful for the transfer, which is unusual and it didn’t work. To get an explanation we need to make an appointment with the doctor and pay the consulting fee again. And also all the treatment on weekends charge extra fee. We finally decide not going to Ginefiv again but change to other clinic which can promise the success rate. But it’s a waste of time and energy for us to have the whole treatment in Ginefiv.

Thank you to the Ginefiv Barcelona team for making my dream of becoming a mother come true. The other clinic(s) had failed, thinking only of money.
I was listened to and supported by all the staff. Dr. Lin is really great. She does not push for expensive examinations for nothing, and she studies the patient’s file in order to offer her the best protocol.

I work at GINEFIV BARCELONA as an anesthesiologist. I am part of the SEDATIUM anesthetic team. It is a young assisted reproduction center (4 years in operation) directed by Dr. Mónica Aura. A young team and very excited about their work, which is to help many women achieve motherhood that they find a bit resistant to. Working there is a real pleasure. The work is enjoyable, fun and very dynamic. All their staff are super-friendly and attentive.
My job is to ensure perfect comfort and safety for patients in treatments that require intravenous sedation (follicular punctures, embryo transfers, diagnostic hysteroscopies, testicular biopsies).

Everything was easy and pleasant for us: the first telephone contacts, the clear and quick answers to our questions (in French!), the warm and reassuring welcome on site in a beautiful, very well-equipped clinic, the quick turnaround time to obtain a egg donor, the optimization of our on-site travel (the transfer took place during our second on-site visit).
I got pregnant on the first try!

After becoming a widow during the Pandemic, I decided to freeze my eggs so I could be a mom. Initially, the salespeople were closer than the doctors. I had many doubts and fears about being a mom alone and I couldn’t decide on the treatment, and one day the doctor who touched me said On top of that, she was the head of the center, she told me that I rushed through the treatment, crying, I told her that I was emotionally bad and unstable, that’s why I couldn’t give her a date, and of course, since I had already paid, I had to follow the process. In the end, I froze my eggs there and with time they only worry about collecting and collecting human attention, this year I decided to get out of there because I did not want to have it as a reference to do the treatment, they never gave me confidence, they never accompanied me through the process that I was going through….above I went with my now current partner to do the corresponding tests paying an additional amount and they did not want to give me the result but I had to pay another appointment….I asked them for the result that we had paid for and I had to make an appointment with my insurance so that they could interpret it for me … until the last moment I went through the procedure to transfer my oocytes to another center and the secretariat that assists them does not know anything, they put my personal information wrong on the invoice that I paid to collect them and told me that this is how it was in the system and I told him no, I had gone since the beginning of the year to exchange my nie for an ID and I didn’t move until he gave me the corresponding receipt with my original information. Now I feel much calmer that my oocytes are well stored in a more humane and specialized center. THINK WELL BEFORE TAKING THIS SERVICE THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL OR HUMAN AT ALL, STARTING WITH THE MANAGER AND RECEPTION WHO ALREADY COME IN AND MAKE A BAD FACE!!

We are a couple that came with great enthusiasm, although the road has sometimes not been easy, we have always had the support of the entire team. Our dream is just beginning and we hope everything goes well. I live in Canada and I used the services of Ginefiv for double gamete donations. My experience with the clinic was extraordinary. I was taken care of wonderfully (better than fertility clinics in Canada) every step of the way. The team is super efficient. There is no time limit for starting the process, unlike in Canada where the average time on a waiting list is 2 years. Language is absolutely not an obstacle for people who do not speak Spanish. Throughout the process, a translator from the clinic transmitted to me orally or in writing the relevant information in my language. I felt fully confident and reassured by the clinic staff at each stage of my journey thanks to rigorous follow-up, sometimes by email, by telephone or by videoconference. The team responded quickly to my questions and I never felt left to my own devices throughout the course, despite the distance. Furthermore, I appreciated the kindness and goodwill of the staff who were involved in my case. I also really appreciated my gynecologist, Dr. Aura Masip, who in addition to being very competent, is also reassuring and comforting. Ultimately, this process worked for me on the first try and I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy.
