My experience was OK here. I was met with quick apts when they were needed, office was well maintained, majority of the staff was kind, and most of the time I received quick messages back in the portal. Though I feel my experience was lacking in some of the most important aspects like continued care and communication directly with the doctor, reviewing and discussing about each procedure before going into them, the $500 admin cost for each IUI or IVF procedure. I went through several IUI’s before the nurse paused and suggested I set up an apt with the doctor to review, which I learned that after IUI 4 I should stop and go with IVF. I feel like if this discussion was had earlier then I could have made better informed decisions about my overall health and options. IVF is not an option for us so I wish there was more a direction and care to understand what is truly causing the infertility but there wasn’t. The initial procedure to check your tubes was some of the worst pain I’ve been in and I wish they would have told you that you would be placed in what looked like an operating room with 4 or 5 other people. I was asked if I needed an Advil but expectations were not fully set before doing this and it was traumatic for me. I believe the admin fee is in the initial paperwork but did not fully understand it was for each procedure so that was a surprise for me at checkout. I think this fee is out of control and I have never come across this type of fee anywhere in the medical field. As for my experience with the IUI experience, it was quick, nurse I had each time was nice and allowed me to ask questions without feeling rushed, and it was fairly straight forward each time. I did not end up pregnant in the end.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Asante. From the very first appointment, he made us feel heard, respected, and truly cared for. His approach is compassionate, thoughtful, and incredibly thorough. He takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly, making sure you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. It’s rare to find a provider who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely kind. I feel lucky to have found him and highly recommend his care to anyone looking for a doctor who truly goes above and beyond.
I don’t understand how this practice is able to such high reviews. Within the first six months, we only saw the doctor ONCE. Our situation is a bit unique and I understand that human error does occur, but how they handled our case was rather apathetic. We got the generic “we’re sorry”, but nothing of how to resolve the situation. No strategy, no plan – quite honestly I’m upset that I wasted my time there. Time is of the essence and it felt as if no one respected our short window of time we were granted.
Other issues that I found with this practice:
– They have poor follow up after getting procedures (I had to call several times to be able to receive my results, they gave me the excuse of sometimes you won’t know for a couple of months)
– Billing, ensure you follow up with how they bill you as duplicates do occur
– No one discusses about what your end goal is and I felt that the idea of “egg donor” was brought up several times
– While the ARNP was reviewing results with us she couldn’t even keep straight of who our doctor was
If you want to feel like another number and a sheep being herded through the process this is the place to go.
Please note: I do see other practices regularly and am flabbergasted by my experience here.
The only positive thing I can say is the front desk staff is very kind.
My husband and I are extremely grateful to the CRM team for giving us our baby girl via IVF. We completed 2 rounds of IVF and one FET. I received such great treatment as a patient of Dr. Patels. She truly cares and it makes all the difference. She’s strategic with her protocols and doesn’t make rash decisions. Dr. Sadek was also very kind and made me feel comfortable when he did one of my retrievals. Ta’nah worked with us thru the process and she is so caring. I would recommend CRM to anyone needing fertility treatments. Will definitely go back again in the future if needed.
I have no issues with the Dr or facility itself, I have had a great experience. The billing dept though is like a nightmare to talk to. You ask a question and they love to go in circles with you. Or not give you what you ask for. Like read what I’m asking for? For example : I ask for an itemized statement for charges that I paid with my carrot card (fertility assistance) and they completely ignore what I’m asking for. So I have to stress and ask 4 more times till they understand. I shouldn’t be stressed over a simple question. I explain things clearly too of exactly what I need. So please get it together and READ what the patient is asking for.
I called to get results faxed over to my doctors office this afternoon, and the person I spoke to was very rude. When you work in the medical field you should try being a little bit more sensitive towards others.
Spoke with Nicole and was spoken down to and not heard for the reason I was inquiring. Refused to disclose the fee structure unless I came in for a consultation. Told her it wasn’t a good fit as I want somewhere that will be transparent and respectful.
I Had a wonderful experience donating my eggs here! The staff is friendly and professional. I hope to be welcomed back here to donate again 🙂
Dr.loy and the team CRM did the the magic for us. being in tampa it was worth driving to orlando.most of our consultation was online, except for few vists in person for critical steps of the process. thank you! crm and for myself too.(it a team effort :))
Throughout all the process they were very helpful. The retrieval doctor and his team were very skillful and professional. They explained me everything even it is very trivial. They really took care of me very well. I am grateful what they did for me.
