I would like to express my huge gratitude and thanks to the clinic BARCELONE FIV for making my dream come true. For many years of patience and great professionalisme this equipe, especially Dr. Coladron, helped me a lot to overcome the difficulties that I had because of menaupose and to become fertile for the second time.. Now I enjoy the presence of my daugher AMELIA and I am extremely happy for our family accomplishment. I highly recommend them!!! Your team deserves more than just 5 stars. BRAVO!!! We contacted the clinic in March to inquire about the ROPA method, we were taken care of immediately, a video appointment was made two weeks later with a doctor to answer our questions and tell us what steps to follow.
We were very supported even for all our exams (done in France).
When it was time to start the medication we were also very well looked after, always someone to answer our questions.
We left for Spain in May for the puncture and embryo transfer 5 days later. Always very supported there throughout the whole process.
Today, a few months later, we have twins.

My partner and I chose IVF Barcelona for our egg donation journey and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the first contact with the clinic, we felt welcomed, listened to and looked after with great professionalism and humanity.

Doctor Olivares, in particular, proved to be an exceptional person: extremely competent, empathetic and always available to answer all our questions.

Even the staff: always kind, attentive and ready to offer us support both from a medical and emotional point of view. The organization of the clinic was perfect, with personalized assistance that made us feel looked after step by step.

The result? On the first try I got pregnant, an indescribable emotion that made this trip even more special. Our puppy will be born in August. We know that every PMA journey is unique and that results may vary, but what matters is the quality of care received. And in this, IVF Barcelona was an excellent choice.

I highly recommend trying this clinic

I DO NOT recommend this clinic for several reasons. I made 4 embryo adoption attempts that unfortunately did not work.

1. Medical treatment was almost non-existent. There is a maid (very friendly, by the way) who practically takes care of everything. But there were cycles that the doctor didn’t even see. When we met her she was always in a state of emergency. In a hurry and without any interest. All the tests I did or vitamins and supplements I took were on my initiative. Dr. Serra never proposed any therapeutic plan to me.

2. I asked several external embryologists and they all agreed that 2/4 embryos were of fair quality, when I had been assured that the blasts would be of good quality.

After half an hour of discussion, Dr. Serra, (the only time I have really had time to talk to her.), she recognized that the last 1AB embryo was of “justilla” quality (not a professional term) and proposed to me a discount of 1000 EU on the next transfer. Also that the embryo would be of 4AA quality and that she would be personally in charge, together with the head of the laboratory, of choosing it.
Magically, a week later, in the decision process, the doctor backed down and told me that she could not guarantee that quality.

Anyway, it is clear that no one can guarantee getting pregnant, but personally, my experience at this clinic has been HORRIBLE. Not only for losing 12,000 EU (not counting flights, hotels, medication, tests…), but on a human level. Even more emotionally draining than it already is.
The waiting room is always packed, and it feels like we are just another churro, I mean, just another number.

I have been waiting for years to have a child, this clinic was recommended to me.
First question I ask them if the embryo is healthy, no answer.
However, the lady on the phone was more than kind, I filled out my file.
No follow-up, such a shame.

Professionalism, competence and empathy are the words that describe our experience with BCN IVF. These three things together allowed the birth of Augustine! But even if we had not achieved this wonderful result it would have been an extremely positive accompanying experience for us. Thank you with all my heart! ❤️
