The team is very friendly and caring, the clinic is modern. Konstantina the patient coordinator is always helpful and available. Thanks to ivf Athens Center I am now pregnant with my first baby. I will be forever grateful!

Dr. Katerina and Vasilis Athanasiou are excellent doctors after being a patient of them for several years. They run a professional clinic with friendly staff making each visit unique. They are experts for IVF as well as general gynaecological matters. Dr. Katerina and Tonia have professional experience in top tier hospitals in Switzerland bringing new added value in the IVF Athens Center. Highly recommended.

Sadly, the clinic – all of a sudden – refusued to treat me due to a Hepatitis B infection I must have had once (still antibodies): I was at another clinic prior and they didn’t care (but could not do certain testing so I needed to change). This is no official reason and I lost weeks of documentation and mailing in my IVF process. But mostly, it was very hurtful to be “rejected” considering I do not understand what happened and why this is a problem. It is not likely that many women end up doing IVF and are perfectly healthy. I was left hanging without any “real” explaination (it is not a legal problem). So it seems like being a great clinic and I had it recommended too, but I guess, I was not a “good enough” patient for them to try.

All about the money! After paying him over €2000 several years ago for a preventive checkup, he doesn’t care about your needs. Two minutes I was in his office and that was to make the payment, zero update. Don’t you dare call him to ask him a question. In addition to not answering your question, he will also speak aggressively to you. Sorry, the great scientist is already disturbed.
I’m really sorry for dealing with him!

Thanks to this clinic, and the entire team, our dream has finally come true. After having countless unsuccessful treatments in Australia, Dr Athanassiou assessed my case and tailored the treatment like no one before. All I can say is that I’m now holding a newborn in my arms, something I almost thought will never happen.
My sincere thank you also goes to Konstantina, who communicated with us all the way and made this journey much more pleasant.

The experience from the moment you request an appointment until the completion of the requested information by Mr. Athanasios himself is impeccable. The ladies in organizing the appointment as well as at the reception very helpful in everything. The meeting for information from the doctor is scientifically complete and documented, solving not only technical but also ethical questions. The doctor spent a lot of time scientifically analyzing the options a woman has, but also giving a human tone to the discussion, which further helps those interested, since he is open and receptive to many questions. There was no sense of economic exploitation, which is easy in this day and age, and he gave guidelines for the future by looking into the eyes with honesty, scholarship and empathy. “You feel that you were helped” is how you feel at the end of the appointment, a very important feeling 🙏

Mr. Athanasiou is an excellent scientist and a WONDERFUL PERSON! He really cares, treating each case as unique and with his knowledge, experience and faith in God he contributes to us being able to experience the miracle of motherhood! He is the personal of the bet that he will succeed all of us who are trying to make us parents!! I got pregnant with the 3rd insemination without having to do an IVF, having complete trust in his advice and following the protocol he recommended to me to the letter!! Now I am very happy because I have a 4.5-month-old baby!🙏🙏 The organization of the center is impeccable! The scientific staff (doctors, embryologists, midwives) are very experienced and supportive in whatever we needed! The girls at the reception led by our beloved Chryssa (the most positive person we’ve met) they set you up for how they will make sure everything goes well!❤️I don’t know if the word THANKS is enough to express the immense gratitude I feel for the wonderful journey of motherhood and birth with you!❤️❤️Thank you from the bottom of my heart all of you and each of you individually!!❤️❤️
