Run away! They’re only interested in money.

We did several transfers with this clinic over the course of about two years, and over time, we realized that they weren’t at all serious about follow-up, testing, and coordination.
The fact that Alexis, a great French-Greek coordinator, left the clinic overnight without explanation, a few months before our last transfer, was really suspicious. I’m sure he left because of this clinic’s lack of professionalism and shady practices.
Shortly before the last transfer, they emailed us documents that I had already sent them several times. All they care about is your money, that you come and they transfer an embryo, and goodbye. They share donors, that’s 100% certain. The doctor is very proud and disdainful, he looks down on you, you only see him for two minutes at each transfer, and you hear me yelling at the staff, the rest of the time you never see him. They made us wait hours at each transfer, with the other patients, no privacy.
What also seemed suspicious to us was having to pay €300 (always in cash) to certify our relationship with a Greek notary they work with, because we’re not married, but only in a civil partnership.
I’m pretty sure the doctor in France who was treating us was getting a commission for sending us there; I found out about it later on a forum. I find it disgusting. During our last transfer, 10 minutes before, we were asked for an additional €1,500. We were presented with a fait accompli, even though we had exchanged emails with them beforehand. It would have been good to remind us of this. This is part of coordinating and organizing a transfer under the best possible conditions, right? We had no choice but to get a credit card…
After our last failure a year ago, I sent several emails to the clinic with various questions, but they never responded.
Today we chose a great clinic in Spain. The communication is excellent. We speak directly with the doctor if necessary, on the phone or via Skype. He takes the time to explain everything, and is available to us. Kindness is their watchword, not money! They even told me I was too impatient and that they preferred to run more tests before a transfer. What they want is success above all, not to make money at any cost.

I have to say the best, all the staff willing to serve always with a smile, and of course I have no words for Konstantinos Ravanos and the embryologist Dora Pavlidou, they became my people, I was saddened by my sadness and much more happy with my joy, giving me two little angels. I thank them from the bottom of my heart

An excellent team, with professionalism and love for what they do. Alongside us in our efforts, seeing us as people and not as a wallet…Today I have my three-month-old daughter in my arms! Thank you for everything!

The worst part!!!!!! That’s my name exactly as you see it!!! I’m commenting from my experience but it’s logical that you don’t like it, everyone’s behavior was terrible, in my second level you delivered a baby with problems in everything and I was put under a lot of pressure to terminate the pregnancy!! Today the problem baby and the ‘stupid’ one as the doctor had said (I wonder if he really is) is 3 months old and very healthy!!!

You can make the transfer on the same day

I have to say the worst.. I went to have the big ultrasound and after they asked me what work my husband and I do (where does that fit?), they told me that the fetus has a “golf ball” in its heart, that’s what a stigma is called, and that this is found in people with Down syndrome and if something like that happened, they would have to take the fetus from me. After they terrified me and since I didn’t abort at that time due to their generally bad attitude, they told me to do a blood test on the spot which would cost 580 euros. Without any thought, I gave blood and after a few days the results came out, which means they were positive for us. The bad thing is that within half an hour I was informed by a neonatologist that this was all a hoax, since the cervical smear I had done was satisfactory I shouldn’t have laughed and that this little spot is found in many fetuses and disappears as soon as they are born. THEIR EYES ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE MONEY OF THE WORLD BUT GOD SEES EVERYTHING……

I am very disappointed and I will never go again !

I visited the center in Athens but I had no success. I don’t blame anyone but just luck. I have no complaints from either the secretariat or the staff. Good luck with your research!!
